Even the glow escaping Idia's hood is much more manageable than what the Void threw at Thanatos. This is kinder than the tests he originally had on this station. He opens one golden eye as Idia approaches to get a read on the situation before closing it again. Idia's working himself up over something. He doesn't understand why.
"He probably would. Mort?"
The small lump of a bean mouse shuffles to alertness. Mort's nose wiggles at the scent of food. He doesn't need to eat, but like his new mobility and being able to make his own friends, Mort finds that he likes it. A lot. He's sure Thanatos would too, but he's still too concerned about back home to let himself enjoy the treats so freely given now. Is it a guilt thing? It seems like it is even though none of it is Thanatos's fault.
He squeaks and nods his head. Food offerings are good!
