She was still thinking about it. It wasn't like she could avoid him, he wouldn't go away and once they were back on the train they had to live in the same room. So ignoring the problem wouldn't solve it. Ignoring problems rarely solved them, honestly. So she needed a solution, but she hasn't figured anything out yet.

They hadn't exactly been neat to begin with, she had never had to do them on her own before.
She went over obediently and silently, pulling the ribbon from what remained of the end of the plaits.
