A City Falls: Start

Preparation

Just after light on the seventh day of the month of Bassoon everyone’s SCA glows with the colour of the void before showing a message. A briefing for the mission to come.

Anyone who goes to investigate the dressing carriage will find all the cupboards and drawers open. They may need to battle through spider webs but soon will find an array of clothes. Trousers, skirts, dresses, shirts, robes, cloaks. Everything they will need and plenty of choice. All the clothes have accents of team colours in more muted hues than the normal bold hoodies they wear.

A few hours later there is an announcement over the speakers. "Arrival to Planet #25768 imminent. Prepare for exit from Void. Drop order: Purple, Orange, Red, Blue. All passengers are to wear their Safety Control Apparatus and are reminded that emergency evacuation protocol is three short taps."

The train shudders and jerks. It is time.

Purple

"Purple Team to doors. Drop in two minutes. Purple team to doors."

The train flies down through the air before coming to a stop between two rocky outcrops. The doors hiss open, it’s a bit of a jump down to the ground and anyone who looks back will find the train hard to see. Not invisible but definitely cloaked, shifting to blend in with the rock.

They can hear the sound of many footsteps and the high sound of young voices. It is easy to hear where they need to be.

As they move down the rocky slope they will see the main pass. A large group of children are walking. Spirits are high even if it is clear they are on their guard. Older teens are wearing weapons, swords, the odd axe, a few daggers. Nothing expertly crafted but they all wear them with ease. Slightly younger children carry the very young, toddlers and those too young to walk and keep pace.

There’s a sound from in front of the group. From around the corner a girl, about thirteen years old, runs towards them. Her braids bounce against her shoulders, her eyes are wide with fear and she waves her hands at the others. “Run! Run!”

A shadow looms behind her, a winged wolf, gaining speed towards her. Sat on the wolf is a spear wielding goblin.

From all around them a growling of many more wolves, in the hills, close and ready to pounce.

Orange

Once Purple Team are gone the train flies again. "Orange Team to doors. Drop in two minutes. Orange Team to doors."

The train seems to be still concealed as it hovers at the city walls. There’s a bit of a jump onto the walls but at least they are near one of the staircases down into the city.

Also luckily no one seems to have seen them appearing out of no where though that has more to do with the general chaos rather than anything else!

There is a lot of chaos! People evacuating, animals everywhere, people looking lost and bewildered. Get herding or helping and encourage people up that cliff path!

Red

The train flies onward. "Red team to doors. Drop in two minutes. Red team to doors."

The train makes a slightly bumpy landing on a rocky slope. Scrambling up the slope red team will see a group of fighters, perhaps eighty in total. There are some supplies to the side, not yet allotted. Some horses and weapons. All the fighters are currently focused on a tall woman who is on horseback, facing them from the front.

“… Say those that stand here, as few as we may be were the ones who end the goblin menace on our lands for good. For our children and our families. We fight!”

The end of what was clearly a rousing speech, the fighters cheer. They begin to move over the slope, towards the goblin camp below. If you are joining this battle the time is now!

Blue

The train flies low, skimming over the lake. "Blue Team to doors. Drop in one minute. Blue Team to doors."

Jumping down off the train they will land in the shallows of the lake. It’s not deep enough to go over their boots and now too far to wade to shore. The shore is rocky, loose rocks and pools of water to avoid. The tower stands before them. Three goblins, riding wolves perch on the walls high above them. The sky above crackles with lightning that is not at all natural.

The doorway to the tower is open, there are a lot of stairs to get up. The howls of the wolves fill the air as the wizards fight them off above. Time to climb!

Preparation

Joscelin has always been something of a tiny clothes horse. He was (over the course of his eternal childhood) raised to be a gentleman, after all. While he's never fully attempted to emulate adult fashions--he's too mindful of how ridiculous he would look if he attempted to do so--being in a child's body is no excuse for poorly tailored clothing. The hoodies and cargo pants he's been stuck in for the last several days have been a personal affront to his penchant for fastidious dressing. Walking through the dressing car, he carefully chooses several garments in his size and emerges from a changing cubicle looking surprisingly authentic. These clothes, despite their fantasy theme, are fundamentally similar to the ones he'd worn in the fourteenth and fifteenth century. Shirt, braies, cotte, hose, cloak. He doesn't wear them like a costume because he remembers them as clothes.

He stands in front of the mirror, then looks around to see if anyone is watching. No? Good. He does a little turn, pleased to be neatly dressed once again.

Purple - Off the Train

Now this is more like it. Joss grins in sheer, undiluted joy as he stares down the goblins on their winged mounts. There is nothing better than a good, honest fight. Particularly one in which he can do some good. Even though he's no bigger than the children he's supposed to be protecting--smaller than many, actually--he's determined to keep the little ones safe.

It would be much better if he were armed, though.

"You," he barks to a girl of about fourteen, holding a squirming, crying toddler, "Give me that knife. It'll do me much better than it'll do you. You need to keep your focus on the infant."

He turns to the other from Team Purple. "Arm yourselves as best you can," he commands authoritatively.

Purple - Middle of the Fight

Somewhere along the line, Joss has lost the knife he begged off the girl, along with the cloak he so carefully chose and part of one sleeve. He's found a goblin sword, though, and he's right in the thick of it, relying on vampiric strength and speed to do the maximum amount of damage. He turns to shout encouragement to the person nearest him, check in on how the humans are making out, but then--

Thunk.

He looks down as a crossbow bolt suddenly seems to sprout out of his chest. He coughs faintly, watching the blood blossom all over his front.

Thunk. Thunk.

Two more hit him: one in the shoulder, and another one in his thigh. The force of the impacts send him falling back towards the ground and the pile of dead and dying goblins he has left there. Why does he feel so faint? This is nothing...isn't it?

Pre drop

Ignis saw a few of the other council members but hadn't spoken to them personally. And after having checked on a few passengers, he'd turned his mind mostly to battle. The advisor's mind was on other things and survival was definitely one of them.

Hearing a certain voice coming closer, his head turned away, unnecessarily busying himself with what he needed to do. What if something happened to someone on this mission and they didn't come back? Ignis didn't want to think about it.

Initial drop

This one is prepared as always. He remained waiting until the door opened and he landed down on his feet lightly. Here he didn't have any way to get to the wolves and goblins immediately, but he was determined to get there and help out.

Racing towards the stairs, he's got his daggers out and fights his way up, with a stone cold look on his face. The advisor has dealt with creatures and has fought many times, so these creatures are nothing to him. The wolves and the lightning don't bother him either as he fights his way up.

"Seems like we're in for a long fight."

Up above

Once the top of the tower is reached, Ignis is a deadly assassin. But as he cuts a path, he sees one of the goblins mounted atop a wolf. A spear comes to his hands and he's going to do a high jump to land on top of the thing.

This foe won't bother him at all but he has to make sure that there's no one else in the area to get hurt.

"Stay clear." And off he goes because he has a job to do.

Train post mission

As he promised, Ignis is there healing. Many here seem wounded, and he's making his rounds doing his best to keep up with the demand.

Seeing a young girl of about five, the advisor kneels down and produces one of the healing potions that he can still work in this strange place. Ignis smiles and gives her a pat on the head as the medicine works on her with a soft note in his voice.

"Here you go."

Initial Drop
She'd managed to arrange a strange facsimile of horse barding, orange-edged silk draped over her body to at least coordinate her with the outfits of the others. She looked great, probably! Didn't help with the horrific stage fright, though!

Hey, how sturdy does the train think they are? Doing an air-drop into a city? There are kids here! As Orange prepared for the drop, she spent her two minutes stealthily building a larger magical array than usual, and when the city walls came into view, released it in a flash - Mass Teleportation!

Okay, she didn't exactly warn anyone, so probably some people didn't take it or jumped too early, but maybe she saved the knees of a few of her teammates!

Cliff Path
To teleport, she needed to know the target location. So, obviously, her first stop was the top of the cliff path to get that Quest Flag tm. Then a teleport back down, find some NPCs and move them-- ah, good thing they couldn't hear her call them NPCs...

Anyway!

Haha!

Why weren't these stupid people leaving their houses?! Is your AI broken? Not moving until a gleaming heroic knight sweeps in? Too bad!

Maybe a large spider breaking your door down and kidnapping you would be traumatic, but it wasn't her job to smooth things over - that was the job of whichever poor Orange friend she'd collected to explain to the screaming townsfolk she was currently manhandling that they weren't about to be eaten.

Stop her eating a goat
Hmm. No one was watching, and this goat sure looked delicious...

Wildcard: get rescued, ride her like a steed, etc

Dressing
She really had no idea what to do in the dressing car, so after a moment of watching people dress, she just shrugged and began pulling together clothing that looked like it would fit her. Going on Firion and Cecil's outfits as an inspiration - they seemed like the most appropriate - she eventually settled on something that would be easy to move in and left the car to make room for someone else.

Drop site/before the charge
[ The drop and scramble up to the ridge passes too quickly for her to process; she's still adjusting to waking up bundled into a suitcase like a corpse in a horror movie, and switching gears is taking longer than she'd like. She'd still been reading the information when the drop call went out, after all.

Then the ranks of fighters are visible, and the goblin camp beyond, and she bites her lip as not to swear.

And then she swears anyway. ]

This is going to be a shit-show.

[ They've arrive a little too late for Lightning to properly appreciate the call to arms, but with the demeanour of a trained rank-and-file, she gestures at the other Reds to indicate that she's heading towards the horse corale and makes to split off. ]

Mid-fight
Lightning's lost track of a lot of things in the ensuing chaos. Her borrowed horse has thrown her and bolted from a blast strike from a goblin mage a long time ago; she's gotten too reliant on the uniforms of the train and thus has lost sight of her team without the blazing red of their clothing.

She has a sword, though; she has several swords, actually, scattered around the battlefield as she's had to discard them. Apparently, and she's a little disappointed if she's honest, the blades used by goblins aren't designed with magitech cores, and don't survive a Blazestrike channled through them. Her right hand is still burned from the backlash of her first attempt, but she hasn't had the chance to switch paradigms and heal it. Or heal any of her injuries, really. She just ignores the pull and sting of tight skin against the hilt of her new weapon and the seep of blood, and jumps towards the next wolf that's dived too low.

Wildcard: get heal't, banter, welcome her off hiatus, tackle her out of the way of a flying wolf's jaws, force her to stop fighting and heal herself idk idk

Somewhere along the way, Ignis has lost track of how many he's healed. This seemed to have been a pretty nasty bout and just as he lets go of someone, another comes in. Luckily taking breaks seems to help and as he's sitting there, he spots a familiar head of pink hair.

Lightning.

Ignis then stands to his full six foot height and makes his way over to her. As he approaches, his green eyes notice that she looks tired and worn out but then again of course she would. And that's when he notices the wounds.

"Are you out of healing spells?"

After a while, she'd forgotten that she'd even been injured; her state of general disrepair has become a new normal and besides, everything important stopped bleeding during the melee or got cauterised in the explosion that had happened... at some point. The point is, she's fine, and she needs to make sure everyone is alive and accounted for. She's still holding a sword, probably. Maybe half a sword. She has no idea where her cloak has gone.

If she was a more introspective person, or less aggravated about being stuffed in a bag for however long she'd been gone and then immediately set on fire by a goblin and thrown off a horse, she might realise that she's riding an adrenaline kick all the way to its end. If that was the case, she might also have intelligently sat down before her legs go out from under her. But it isn't the case at all, and she just blinks owlishly at Ignis's question.

"Why..? Do you need-- whoa--" Her body seizes on this chance to stop, and she staggers, vision greying over.

Preparation

Renee...is perplexed. While she is going through the costumes, she's never done things like LARP or Renaissance faires and so she's...having more than a few problems, even as she's doing her level best not to make a mess of the costumes for anyone else.

"Damn it, I am not going to wear a dress. I'll destroy it!" she growls. But she'd take help--any help--at this point...

Drop

Now that she's kitted up--and looking somewhat piratical in leather, honestly--Renee's ready to get out the doors. But drop? Not...exactly. She does step out the train, but then the signature crimson hue of her power surrounds her, and her legs disappear into rocket-like propulsion as she lifts into the sky.

But then she heard the kid screaming to the others to run. It's not hard to see why--winged wolf with a goblin rider? How unfair. So she steers herself in midair to go blasting towards the spear-toting goblin and its mount, not stopping even when the goblin casts the spear at her--which bounces off the field Renee generates when blasting.

She keeps going. The goblin didn't expect that, and tries to wheel its wolf around and flee--and that's about the time she collides with them, throwing the goblin and wolf away from each other in separate directions.

Looks like Team Goblin's blasting off again!

Later--punch drunk

This...is probably concerning to anyone who isn't Renee. The drawback to using her powers in constant succession for long periods of time? Even with her training and control, eventually she gets...a little silly with the exhaustion. She's still durable as heck and can take a lot of damage, but her judgement...isn't that great. So it's entirely possible to see her posing and flexing as she staggers towards a group of sword-and-shield wielding goblins, waving her arms and generally trying to catch their attention...with some success! She might need some intervention...

Mph. Not a tophat or monocle to be seen, although he supposes it's a bit too late to hide his face from Edogawa, and too early to reveal his hand to Hattori. Still. Something with decent sleeves, so he can hide things up there. Some decent pants that he can move in. ..... The cloak feels like cheating, like skirting too close to the truth but... IT'S A KAMI DAMNED CLOAK MAN he's gotta take it.

(He hesitates a long moment, but someone in the right place at the right time will note an odd gun vanish up his sleeve - better to have it, than to not)

Initial Drop

This is the part where he wishes for his hang-glider, even if he really can't use it here, not with Edogawa and Hattori watching. But he's never had any issues with heights, and he tosses a salute at whoever's standing behind him before tossing himself backwards and flipping to land lightly on the walls, cloak flapping out behind him.

It's showy, and stupid, and he can't help himself sometimes.

Chaos - Helping

As Kaito or as KID, Chaos is the name of the game - but KID's rule is still in force - no one gets hurt, their own stupidity excepting. So despite the showiness of earlier, Kaito in the city is calm, smiling, and to all appearances perfectly cool under pressure. He charms the elderly ladies, offering flowers that appear from snapped fingers (pilfered from windowboxes and sidewalks), and helping those older folk to manage steeper stairs.

"Your beauty is above this flower, obaasan, for yours has stood the test of time!" He declares with a teasing grin and the offer of a pristine bunch of daisies that appears in his hands as he helps an old lady along, her cackle of appreciation at his tease accompanied by the sort of cheek pinch in common with all grandmothers. "Here, my friend will help you get the rest of the way, I'll go back and find your cat, I promise." He hands her off to whoever else on Team Orange is nearby.

Chaos - Herding

Herding chickens, as it turns out, is exactly as hard as it sounds. Kaito's used to working with birds, but pidgeons are a lot more biddable than chickens. Still. He has at least had the bright idea to shove them in cages, which he can then pop on a cart to pull up the hill.

"Got a moment to lend a hand?" He's covered in feathers. Nasty buggers, some of these.

The look he receives in return, from the giant spider still readying a killing blow on the petrified, weakly-bleating animal, is one of pure betrayal. The look he'd get from the goat would be gratitude, if the goat was sentient. It isn't.

She gestures with another leg to the other goats, all carefully snared in spiderthread so they can't get away from her. See, they'll have plenty of goats left! Better her than a goblin!

Ple Two has no idea how to dress herself. Not that she can't put clothing onto her body, and then remove it, and put other clothing on - but everything she's ever worn has just been chosen for her, with no input of her own, including the 'uniform' here.

"...what should I... even wear?" she mutters under her breath, looking over options that are greater than one with a frown.

Drop and Weapons

So they're jumping out - makes sense that the train wouldn't want to stick around - but falling into water is just a little obnoxious. Even a couple inches is obnoxious to a girl used to space combat in an enclosed machine. "Solid ground again... sort of."

Her boots squeak a little as she makes her way up the tower, eyes out for the armory.

Lucky for her, a short sword fits her just well enough, and she suits up with that and a buckler; she's small, but slightly on the tall side for her age, so it's proportional, at least.

Then she grabs a crossbow and starts gathering up as many bolts as humanly possible. Hopefully the draw weight wasn't a problem... and then she spots someone else passing by. "If you have free hands help carry some of these." If there are goblins on flying goddamn wolves she needs ammo.

FIGHT

In Neo-Zeon, Glemy would easily excuse her for shooting down allies. Later on in the conflict, when she was piloting the Queen Mansa, she was a priority beyond all others as long as she could destroy every enemy in her path.

Here she actually has to watch her line of fire, so it's a good thing she's not spewing mega particle weapons every which way. "Just give me open shots!"

And she'll take them. Finally, an actual use for her abilities - it takes a few wasted bolts for her to figure out the arc, but every shot becomes more and more incredibly accurate, and she starts to smirk after felling goblins, airborne or otherwise. "Easy. Easy..."

And watch her back for her too. She might be getting caught up in it.

Preparation

Dread finally had an outfit that suited him better than the ordinary garb they'd been wearing since arriving here! This one took the form of a coat, with long tails and not much in the way of a shirt beneath its open front. Just like home... if purple. Whoops. But hey, otherwise he looked good in it!

Now how HAD he managed to get it looking just the way he wanted? The answer might shock you! Because those who came in after him would find the massive Roegadyn... hard at work with a needle, stitching up a hem as if he'd been born to the work.

"If you have something for me to work on, just let me know," he said, twitching his head at his to-do pile without moving his eyes away from the task at hand.

Purple: Descent

Well. Here we go.

"All right, everyone." The runes on the back of his gloves lit up white-gold as he balled his hands into fists, his muscles tensing all over as he began to open his chakras. "If anyone has any doubts or plans, we have about ten seconds for them. We need to get in there now."

For a guy his size, he could move pretty fast when he wanted. One blink and he was already charging, light and a faint hint of flames trailing from his fists.

Purple: Battle

The real surprising things about Dread was not how hard he hit, but how fluidly he moved. Every punch and kick he threw into the mix flowed together perfectly, almost more like a dance than a brawl -- to the point where some of his moves took the forms of leaping kicks that brought him to the ground, only for him to roll neatly on his shoulders and land another kick on the way back up before his foe could even think to capitalize on his fallen position.

Sensing the trouble, a large number of goblins had pointed their wolf mounts his way, hoping to pull down and shred this point of resistance before he could take out too many more of them. So as the battle flowed, Dread had more opponents coming his way. How long could he hold out?

Clothes Horse

"FINALLY!"

More than anything, Edge had missed his cloak! The one he threw around his shoulders now wasn't like his, nowhere near close -- but it was a cloak for sure, and he didn't have any shuriken or knives to stuff in pockets in it anyway. After all, it did the most important thing...

Edge jerked up one arm, tossing the cape back swiftly enough that the corner of it snapped it midair. There we go! Some proper style!

"Anyone see something like a scarf or bandana?" he asked.

Purple: Fight Music!

Okay. He had his martial arts. He had his shuriken, which was large enough that he could use it as a melee weapon and shield both, but probably wouldn't be able to retrieve it if he threw it, which kind of defeated the point. And there were a bunch of goblins riding wolves his way, quite intent on gutting him so they could go back to the kids they were here to protect.

Naturally, this didn't faze Edge in the slightest. "You fools! You're challenging a ninja of Eblan!" he said -- then, considering that adequate warning, he snapped his cloak back to free his hands entirely, then made several swift and incredibly complicated motions with his fingers. Power hummed in the air, then abruptly discharged as he swept his hands down.

Lightning rolled across the mountains in forked tongues that jabbed and shot everywhere, pumping electrical force into the ground, the plants, and most particularly the goblins. As thunder boomed out over the battlefield, the leaders of the onrushing horde collapsed as their wolves dropped from beneath them, victims of Edge's last tool: ninjutsu.

"All right, who's next?"

[ Dressing up. ]

[ It wasn’t hard for Evie to find anything to wear, especially not when she knew what they were looking forward to. Fights. Violence. Goblins. Madness. Sounded like a day on the Isle, honestly. So Evie dresses as best as she can for function. And maybe to look a little badass. . She even went so far as to use a spell to turn her hair black, unsure of whether or not the locals would react well to blue hair. The point of these clothes was to blend in, right?

Now she was back in the dressing car, helping others get ready.
]

Let me know if you can move in that. The last thing anyone needs is restrictive clothing making things difficult.

[ Dropping in for a quick visit. ]

[ When it was Purples turn to jump from the train to the drop point, Evie was as ready as she could be. Her hair was tied back in a bun at her neck, she had a smoke bomb or two made in the same vein as the ones from rescuing Ben years ago tucked away into a pouch at her side and tucked in with that was Mals spellbook. There was something useful in there, she was sure of it. There were also bandages and gauze, small bottles of disinfectants and antiseptics. She was as ready as she’ll ever be.

When it was her turn to jump, she was surprised (but not at all disappointed) when Harry grabbed her hand, grinning like the twisted idiot he was as he shouted something stupid to signal they were jumping. Probably tally-ho. Evie was busy jumping at the same time, landing in a crouch with a huff. Harry vanishes into the fight. She didn’t have much time to adjust before the girl was running g up, shouting for everyone to run. When Evie saw why, she turned to the nearest child, pointing at the slingshot in his hands.
]

Can I borrow that? Thanks. You’ll get it back.

[ She wanted that goblins spear. It took a few shots, but Evie manages to knock the goblin out. The spear and a sword hit the ground as the wolf flies off and Evie retrieves both. Now she was ready for a fight and with the faint smile on her face, this might be more Isle Evie than Auradon Evie stepping in to rescue those in need. ]

[ For Harry. ]

[ With everyone safely tucked away in the caverns that were supposed to lead them to their destination, Evie was sitting on a rock, examining the mess of injuries she’d sustained. There were scratches, spots on her arms and legs that would certainly be bruises. And a bite on her right forearm that hurt like Hades. She’s forgotten that Goblins bit hard and the one that has gone for her was no exception. That particular monster had been smashed into a rock and, Evies hoping, knocked dead. If it wasn’t, she was sure Harry had taken care of it.

And now, it was almost evening on the first day. The kids were sitting in groups, playing games and talking amongst themselves and Evie was half watching them, bending her arm some to look at how bad the bite was. There’s a hiss from her as it pulls, digging into the aforementioned pouch and really hoping to find something to cover it with. There’s a small frown on her face as she searches, finally feeling every inch of her injuries and the fatigue that comes with a long day of running and fighting.

Lucifer, she needed sleep.

Her own dressing adventures have been depressingly short and unsatisfying. She wants to cosplay a cute magical girl, okay! Let her live this dream!

But no, there are no convenient wardrobes full of spider-appropriate floofy dresses, so instead she just looks through what they have. Ahh, this would be so cute. She lifts up a dress, wistfully. And then holds it up to Ple Two's conveniently close and unmoving body. Hmm, this one... and this one, and this bit... an outfit starts accumulating at the pilot's feet. And another one...

{ Preparation. }

This, Peter's somewhat good at this. He doesn't spend all his time LARPing but he and Ned had been to a few Renaissance fairs and of course they dressed up for it. And, being nerds, they also looked into being as accurate as possible. Peter's pretty sure that's not really a thing he needs to worry about now and hunts out an outfit that looks the part and also won't be an issue for his slow heat regulation.

If anyone needs help finding something practical and easy to move in, Peter's happy to help. Just ask!

{ Before the Drop - Closed to Tony and Little One. }

Once he's dressed and ready to go, Peter's been hanging out by his team. He's a little apprehensive about this mission but it should be fine, right? He really wishes he still had some webfluid.

The intercom calls for Purple to get ready and Peter starts to move towards the doors.

{ R-Red Team....? }

So Peter doesn't get to go with the Purple Team, instead he's gonna be pulled into the Red Team. It means more time with Mr Stark at least but at the same time it's a little embarrassing that he can't go hang out with his team. Ugh.

He's still apprehensive about this mission. He knows what he's supposed to be doing but he doesn't want to. He's never killed anything before and he's just not sure he can now. Even if the goblin's started attacking first that's just not how he does things.

So during the first fight against the Goblins Peter does what he does best-he talks.

"Hey! So I couldn't help but notice that you're attacking this villagers? And they're pretty PO'd about it. Maybe you could, I don't know... not?" He offers in his usual friendly tone, from up on a tree branch. The Goblin just looks up at him and snarls, spear ready to hurl.

"Wow! That was super rude!" He dodges with ease. "I'm just trying to have a conversation with you about why you wanna attack this village and take their kids. Is it because you can't have any? That's rough but you can't go around stealing other people's kids. How are Goblin's born anyway?" He dodges another spear.

"C'mon guy, be more mature about this and use your words? Do you have words or is that an issue here? Can't negotiate because of a language barrier? 'Cause I mean if you show you don't mean any harm-HOLY SHIT!" He dives out of the tree quickly as his Spideysense screamed at him to watch out for.... must have been that flying wolf. Of course they've got flying wolves. Why wouldn't they?

"Buddy! I'm trying to talk here!"

A spider can only do so much. Who is making spider dresses? Can it even be done?

Ple Two glances over as Kumoko briefly uses her as some kind of model, until she's started to get a little mound of clothes next to her. "...are you saying I should wear one of these or are you just playing?"
kumoko: (ah yes)

If she'd had time, she would totally design a spider dress. But no, she woke up this morning in a suitcase and that was that. Not wanting to get thread all over the outfits, she just bobs assent and holds up the original dress she picked for Ple Two to take. Try this one first!

Good luck with that, spider. Unlike other disappearances, Ple Two hadn't... really noticed her missing. What a shame.

"Only if you want me to trip over myself the whole time." Long and flowing was for parties, not heading into battle.
kumoko: (i wanna use magic tho)

She considers, then moves back to give herself room, and slices a foot of fabric off the bottom of the dress with a scythe. Another spider squint, a flash of thread magic, and the hem seals itself. Yeah, that'd do much better for moving around. Ple Two immediately has a dress waved in her face again.

"I... suppose that works?" What a quick worker she is, though. Ple Two takes it in both hands, looking it over. It's a dress. She's never really worn anything of the sort, so she doesn't even know what to make of it, or the recommendation to wear it, exactly.

"Do you... really think it suits me?" Ple Two asks, quietly, glancing around.
