But Tidus knows by the face that somehow manages to look up at him that whatever's going on, it's wrong--extremely wrong. And as that head falls again, so does Tidus, coming down on one knee and then another, his hands resting on Taiki's shoulders.
"Taiki, what's wrong? What's happened?"
There's a hushed but slow urgency as he asks, not pressing in an answer, but wanting to know. Waiting on Taiki to speak, at least for a while.
