He waited long enough. They were all kind of just skirting around the issue, hitting the edges with small comments. Reno didn't have the best of patience on a good day. Neither Tseng or Rufus were here to lead and Roland seemed to have checked himself out for some reason. Curufin was having a moment of respect and Kaiba was a civilian. And Koumyou? Koumyou was talking about something from his own world because he hadn't been around long enough to know anything else. Reno pushed forward. He started where Kaiba left off.

"We saw that. It's what she talked about at the crash site, right? The world that no one remembers except her. We saw that event occur in a memory shared on Jema’grethy." Damn that place to hell. He didn't want to think about it but this was important shit. "The darkness or shapes in space or whatever--it started to hit that place while the Voidtrecker Express was on a mission there. Then the train did its disappearing act before anyone could figure out what was happening."

He paused for a second. This next part he only had word-of-mouth and conjecture to go off of.

"People talked about seeing that same thing happen on one of the missions this train and crew went on. Right before I got here, in fact. If that's true... it's still happening... And what? The Voidtrecker Express is trying to prevent it from happening again? Or trying to save its homeworld by reversing what that shit is doing?"

There. That was the big question, wasn't it. What this train was really up to. What they were gathered here to do. It was, at least, part of the equation. The other part...was how to get it done--so, hopefully, at least in Reno's opinion, they could get the hell off this stupid ride and go back to where they all came from.

"So if we know what it wants now--how the hell do we get it to let us fight this shit and how do we find out how to do that exactly?"
