"Alright." Yoite answered, and gestured to his neck. There was a dark patch there, but that didn't matter, if one looked close enough there was a scar.

"There is a scar here, it's an old injury." Yoite explained. "My chest often hurts, but that's completely normal for me. Usually I have difficulty with my heart, but there has been some improvement." He wasn't sure what to make of that, but he wasn't going to complain.

"I have no sense of taste." Yoite continued. "I also don't have much sense of touch where the qi burns are. I can't hear very much at all. Sometimes I'll get a moment or two but typically nothing these days." He coughed slightly. "I cough up blood often, this too is normal."

"My vision is imperfect, it's a bit blurry. I haven't discussed either my hearing or my vision with a doctor before, it's come on too quickly. I mean...I haven't been in awhile." Yoite confessed. "I've had a couple of moments were I've gone completely blind."

After a moment or two he nodded. "I think that is it. The cause is qi damage, so there isn't anything that can be done about it, but they...try and manage my symptoms. I don't have very long to live."
