"She said it was like any other void storm," Reno was quick to counter Roland. "That it was as easy to weather as any other she and her vessel had gone through before. Unless she remembered incorrectly because it screwed with her, which she did say was a possibility. There's no way to know if there's a connection anyway--if they're common, and neither hers nor ours was very unusual, then there's not much of a way to figure out if it helped cause anything. Besides, what timing? It doesn't add up..."

A short pause and then he breathed out airily. "Unless... you're saying... we just missed the world of Enrara going up in darkness?" He shook his head. "This is so fucked up. So it's either she ended up in an alternate universe where her world doesn't exist--where she didn't exist--despite her supposed checking against that, or the darkness really did swallow up an entire world and it's people, including the ones not on the world, and the memories of all those people except her because she was caught in a void storm that saved her but not the memories other people have of her? And we just missed it? How many times have we been this close and not realized it?"

He held up his hands with palms turned up. "It's crazy either way and what do we really do with that information? We can't steer the craft or even tell if its hopping around alternates looking for its world where its safe or skipping around in time trying to prevent it from happening in the first place! Or both!!"
