At least Madoka has the decency to look a little embarrassed about it when he says 'it was that obvious'. She knows it's a little awkward to call people out on it this blatantly, but what else is she supposed to do? Letting people stew in their worries by themselves feels even worse to her.

And at least this way she's easily dug up the problem that underlies all of this, thanks to Leafmon's tattling help.

It makes everything make a lot of sense. It's a sentiment Madoka herself can understand very well too, after all.
