There comes the strangest urge to laugh at the serendipity of it all, but he smushes it down hard.

He smiles, then, though it fades quickly.

"And I don't have any archery experience, but - have you heard of chi? I saw one of the new members of Blue Team using it on the mission, and..."

He shakes his head. "I was fascinated. I figured - if I could do that, I could better protect my friends, couldn't I?"

"And so, what I'm thinking now is... would learning that help you, too? Or just if we did train in something, something to use on missions."

He hopes he isn't pressuring her into something she doesn't want to do, however - hopes he isn't pressuring himself into something he isn't ready for.
