Like other weapons. Especially since she had no magical ability to fall back on - as far as Madoka actively knows, anyway.
"And it has helped on missions before, so I felt really glad about that. But.. it's just.."
Her voice trails off, and it's quickly followed by her gaze sliding off to the side too as she thinks.
"The fact that the enemies were robots made it really hard. Arrows can't do much against those.. Maybe if I still had my magical arrows from when Maru was around, but since he disappeared, I can't use that power anymore." And it's been a bummer. Not that Madoka hasn't done her best to try and make do with what she has - she's the type for it, after all - but it's hard to go from a position where you felt like you could do more than you could before back to square one.
