There is certainly more to know, and enough pieces of it spread between different people that they could reasonably figure it out if they put their heads together. But they have no reason to do so - not about him, at least - and Siebren does not intend to give them one.

As much as he cares for his team - and he does care quite a bit for a good number of them - he has no guarantee that they will react well to news of his instability paired with his particular abilities and therefore no guarantee that they will not...restrain him again if they find out.

He cannot do that again-

So it is in his best interests to make sure nobody has the full picture. Not unless he can be certain of their reaction. Until then, it is not worth the risk.
