For those inside the system the voices of the Great-Seasons ring out around them once the red mass has vanished and the blue plinth it was smothering is freed once more. They don't have all that much time to reflect on that before they find themselves waking up once more in their bodies around the tree trunks.

Or at least, around the tube that is the Great-Season they entered through. All illusions have vanished now, all that is left are pipes and metal.

The Great-Seasons allow them passage out from the centre, no sentries or pipes attack them this time. Everything seems to have been put to rights, the walls in the Autumn sector have stopped moving, there is no strange weather effects in the Summer Sector, no engineering problems in Winter and all the camaloid creatures in Spring are calm. Any Helpmates they come across are doing their jobs and no longer malfunctioning.

After a small amount of time, enough to check that all is well, their SCA's light up. All Passengers are to return to the Voidtrecker Express.

Considering the vast distances involved it is probably best that they use the evacuation function to return to the Luggage carriage.

Once all Voidtreckers have returned the train returns to the Void once more.

Thanatos would be adjusting to the train a lot better if his presence (or more specifically the lack of it back home) didn't also spell ruin for his world. He's not the jealous type nor does he hate his job, but he's never wished he was someone other than Death Incarnate than he has since being on the train.

Not for his own sake but for everyone else in his world. For Zagreus's sake.

"That only makes me question the train's motives even more."

Thanatos was too busy panicking up and down the entire length of the train, trying to find a way out, to get a proper explanation. He also hadn't thought about the fact that he could understand everyone, likely deciding it was some nature of his divinity than the device. He looks at it again.

"I knew the train interfered with death, but I didn't realize this was what did it."

"... I made the contract. I don't remember making the contract, but I don't regret it." Not defend the city that's been his home, his life for the entirety of his life? He'd never be able to not say no.

"I think that's the problem - do we know what he likes?" Wait. "Does he know what he likes? I've only ever heard him talk about his job, his family, and Zagreus, and none of them are here." For better or for worse, depending.

He takes a bite of his peach, thinking. He's seen Thanatos around the train, but what has he seen him doing? There has to be something he's interested in-

Wait. "He-" Nope, swallow that bite of peach, try again. "He has a pot in the greenhouse, doesn't he?"

"Just anything, huh?" She laughs softly. "Let's find vegetables and a carbohydrate at least." Rice or noodles or potatoes or... something like that.

No avocados. Not in soup. They could just chop them up on the side and it'll be fine.

"We'll make it work out."

Kaseri gives a grumbling nicker at Amar.

Amar pretends not to hear.

But, for now...FOR NOW! Things are peaceful. One hand. They can cope with one hand....

"That's the fun of it!" Madoka can't help but remark. Though she does agree with Ple Two, really - they should at least put some nutricious stuff in there. And a good balance of ingredients.

"It's all about the surprise of what you'll find. Especially here on the train, right?"

Since they're kind of at the mercy of whatever the train decides to give them during any given month. And the kindness of some other passengers in sharing food they've bought or gathered.

Kaiba snorted. "I'm never going to make sense of it. But that's fine."

He had Jou to make sense of it. So he'd just enjoy the ride.

"But everything's good now? No weird after effects?"

"Hn? Nothin' I c'n see anyway. I mean...nothin' b'yond what normally goes on w'th me, y'know?"

"Really..?" Madoka is following right along. Especially since she's invested in this conversation now! She's trying to think whether she ever used the random outfit option.. If she has, it must have been a long time ago, and really not recently. So she can't be sure of what kind of clothes it usually gives out.

"Maybe it's since it's the train picking clothes for us, and it doesn't really know what people usually wear..? Um, since it's a train and all." The default clothes it provides them with are very plain too, after all. Very standard. "I think you can pick outfits yourself too, though it's probably a little more expensive. But that way you know you'll get something you'll like."

"It's okay. If I really need you, I'll make a message on the ICP or something. Someone will hear it, I'm sure!"

Though he's also sure Otoha might be one of the fastest to come running, softie that he is...

"All right. Sleep well, Rich." He moves to head out of medical. He'd prefer to not be in here if possible...

Yoite will return the smile, he can smile, he just rarely has a reason to, but he nods in agreement.

"I can eat it." It's more interesting than...well completely nothing which is a very strange way to eat, and it would help him with the project Ichigo had given him to eat more.

He nodded a little bit, he could do that. "How do you know how to make muffins?" Yoite couldn't quite stop himself from asking the question, hopefully Ichigo didn't mind.

"I'm kind of cheap, I guess. If my whole trying to fix a ripped part of pants didn't give me away. So I thought, hey, I'll try the random option, it can't be that bad. And I usually gets bits of outfits that I like? Just...not usually all of it. I should ask around if someone wants that big dress, maybe they can make it into something."

It probably doesn't make sense for someone who likes to save to keep getting things she doesn't really like, but there's also an element of chance to it. The items are so varied, the styles so strange, it's almost more interesting to get four outfits worth of things that she can pick through than one outfit she'll know she likes. Though she wishes Eros was here to help her make sense of them.

"Well we can just try things out until he finds something he likes. It's always good to try something new."

It's hard to think of what someone might enjoy when they're never...really enjoyed things before. It's a shot in the dark.

"Yeees? It's down a few plots." She gestures absently in that direction, "I'm under strict orders not to touch it with my magic plant growing powers. Or at least, that's my impression. He just wanted to try and grow something."

That...doesn't sound very nice and normal, knowing you signed up for something that you don't remember. If she made that firm a decision, that important of one, wouldn't she remember? Of course, if he says he doesn't regret it, it's not up to her to try and force him to do otherwise.

"Well...I'm glad you don't regret it. Was it that long ago? That you can't remember?"

"About a week before I showed up on the platform. ... I was dying at the time, so not everything was very clear. I don't know if removing memories of human life is intentional or if it just kind of is part of the deal." His situation was... unusual, to say the least.

"Maybe miss spider can do something with it?"

The suggestion is a little unsure. Mostly since Madoka doesn't know how exactly the spider makes all those clothes in the first place, and she's also not entirely sure if she wants to know in the first place. So it may be possible that the spider only knows how to make clothes, not how to do something else with already existing clothes.

"Or.. there are also some really big people on this train, right? Maybe one of them could use it to actually have something in their size."

"Oh, I don't think he'd blame you. He and I have met before." Senku said with a bit of a smile.

"But point taken, yeah, it's probably because he...cares..." Ugh, that sounded so mushy. It also made him blush a little bit.

"And he wishes I would stop doing things like that."

"We still don't know a lot about our SCAs. Or the Train in general." Raven replied quietly. "I can show you where you can ask, on the ICP, if you want."

"Would you even wear a miniskirt? I wasn't imagining anything too sensational," he lied, Gen's smile was all false innocence. "Even on the train, nobody would be scandalized by your knees."

Senku snorted. "It's not that so much as the fact I'm not very careful about how I sit, in case you hadn't noticed." He rolled his eyes. "It doesn't bother me how short it is, all I'm saying is I think it's gonna bother other people when they can see my underwear."

"Exactly," Devero says with a smile. "You can't know for sure just by the way someone looks, so you ask instead of assuming."

His smile turns a little sad. "You probably did," he says gently, "but just didn't know that they were."

"I don't know that the train even has motives," Devero says. He sticks his hands in his back pockets and half turns, looking out over the clean, orderly lines of the garden. "Sometimes I think the AI that runs this thing is a lot simpler than all of us like to give it credit for."
