It is pretty weird to Alice too - him apologizing like that. After all, he hasn't gotten her sick (yet, though she hopes not at all, thanks), so there's no reason for him to apologize to her.

And yet here they are.

Alice feeling so unsure what to do with that apology leaves a moment of awkward silence between them. She's way too lacking in social experience to know how to deal with this at all, so when she speaks up again, she apparently opts to just not address it at all.

"Can you walk?" She instead asks. Since he seems incredibly wobbly. Is he even going to be able to make it to the medical carriage?
