What their Eyes See: Optional Ongoing
By day eight the Voidtreckers have made a good deal of progress in all their tasks but there is still a lot to do to help the people of the city.
It is around mid morning when there is a message on their comms. For those that want to help it is easy to either find Anan herself or ask for netpoints and scanners to be brought to them by Chiff.
Illusions have gotten worse, uncertainty and fear are rising across all tiers and the situation is becoming more chaotic by the day. Indeed especially on the first and second tiers it seems that the voidtreckers themselves are being targeted, with creatures stalking them and attacks on their minds to make them believe that what they are seeing is real.
Same inside the Spectura system, the vines seem to almost be on the offensive against the voidtreckers though things are getting better outside the game system as more of the vicitms are freed and wake up.
Almost opposite to the situation on the lowest tier, which is getting more chaotic by the day. Anger is bubbling over, people are frightened and in a place like this the only real way to express that fear is through anger.
There has been a lot of progress but there is still a lot of work to do, especially as many of the voidtreckers have started to realise, this all seems a little too familiar.

Romeo | Blue
Lots of people have woken up now and that's really good! Romeo is glad that they've managed to save so many people already but he knows there are other people who are still sleeping, still stuck in the games and tangled with vines.
So he continues jumping back in. Right now he's in a building game, big coloured blocks that could be used to make bridges, towers and staircases to travel from floating platform to floating platform.
This place like all the rest was overrun by vines and he was hopping from brick to brick soothing vines as he went.
"Can anyone hear me?" He hasn't found anyone yet but there are people playing this game, they are trapped somewhere and he's determined to find them.
Netpoints
Outside the games Romeo still isn't sitting idle. He rests when he's told to but he has the endless energy of a young boy and so once he hears there are more things they can do to help he is determined to do so.
He has some netpoints and is planning to place them around, the hospital would be a good start since that's where the people still sleeping are.
He spots a fellow Voidtrecker and approaches them, whispering to them. "I can make you invisible if you want!"
Netpoints
Honestly he's been passing himself off as a repairman to get into places, wearing a jumpsuit (some form shlub worker clothing is a token of any society), doing his best to not be noticed despite being blue and red. And for the most part he's pretty good at being just noticeable enough that he eventually becomes forgettable.
But oh, right! Romeo did list that on his survey.
After his heart remembers how it's supposed to beat properly he finally responds reasonably. "Right, yeah. That take anything special or just somethin' you can do?"
Re: Netpoints
"I just need your name! And then I can do it!"
He sounds very confident, the spell works on confidence. He has to trick it into thinking he can absolutely do it.

Though surprisingly only one person on the train has called him by his last name. Most people just call him 'Yondu'. Some probably don't even know he has a last name.
"What kinda magic is that?"
no subject
"It's shinki magic. We got magic like our borderlines but we also got magic spells. The spells need names though, for shinki it's our vessel names but if we do them for humans or... not shinki people." Yondu wasn't human after all, at least Romeo didn't think he was.
"Then we can just use their whole name."

He wonders, briefly, if Centaurians have anything like... well, whatever a shinki is.
no subject
"Is everyone on your world a centurian? Are you all blue?"
He's at least dropped his voice a little, though there's no one nearby paying attention by the look of it.
no subject
"You mind holdin' onto this for me?"
But he keeps his voice low too, taking the cue.
"Yeah, we was all blue. Same color blue, too. Kree come in all kinds of colors of it, we're just all one kind of blue. An' most of us got a natural fin. Big an' red." He taps his cybernetic one as he makes his way towards the doors. "Most of us don't talk as much with our throats. I do 'cause I wasn't raised there... All kinds of stuff Centaurians can do that I don't get. Like they all in tune with nature and the like? I'm only in tune enough to know I hate this air real bad."
no subject
He points dramatically, which may or may not be part of the spell. He then points to himself just as dramatically. "Shosoki! Umbra!"
Once he feels the spell take hold he takes the tool kit with a serious nod. He needs to concentrate quite hard to keep two spells going but he can still listen as well. "Where did you grow up then? What's a kree?"
no subject
But when it's a kid he finds himself dodging around, trying to find ways that make it sound... maybe not okay, but palatable.
"The people that raised me. They come in lots of colors an' shades of good an' bad. The ones what had me weren't the good sort. But.... they taught me to do some tech an' a bunch of other stuff so I guess it's a 'make the most of a bad situation' thing."

"I had a bad boss too once." He didn't like thinking about it, especially since he really doesn't know much past the tiny snippet of memory dream he has. "I don't really remember many things from when I was alive, only four things but one of them was that I was in a room and lots of scary grown ups were arguing because there was only two kids to buy so it was lots of money and then one of them bought me and I think he was a bad person because good people don't buy kids."
He shrugged, "But now I got a good boss as a shinki and I think that is much better because we are a team and that's important. Did you find a good boss when you growed up?"
no subject
"Yeah," he confirms. "Them kind of bad bosses. Got bought when I was real little. Didn't get saved until I was grown, an' yeah. He was a real good boss. I think about 'im all the time."
People might think Stakar wasn't a good guy for kicking him out, but they've seen the him that's not been living like he has something to prove. Everyone's met the him that gave the hell up. The Yondu that was before? Was an asshole, and Stakar could see it and Stakar called him out on it.
Stakar was good people, and- "-He was the best boss."
no subject
But it was good that he found a good boss afterwards, especially the best boss. That sounded like he had managed to find someone really great.
"I'm glad you found him then! Having a good boss is really important!"
no subject
He kind of avoids people, but does notice them generally not noticing him. He is stalled, briefly, when he sees what seems to be a father, an uncle, some kind of older man figure next to an unconscious boy's bed in a room.
It's enough to make him linger there, enough for that spark of empathy to jab him right in the heart before he keeps going. "What's your boss ask you to do?"
no subject
"Um... Not much. I'm supposed to help him fight but he's really really powerful and I'm not very strong compared to him so there's not much I can do to help. He says he just wants me to be a kid and have fun but I can do all that and be a good shinki too."
no subject
But he gets that this kid is basically a big walking heart and just wants to help.
"I think ya do enough around here. If you do the same there, you're doin' fine."
no subject
Which was a good thing. "That's what miss Persephone said, that I should help him by being his friend first even if I'm his shinki too."
