What their Eyes See: Optional Ongoing
By day eight the Voidtreckers have made a good deal of progress in all their tasks but there is still a lot to do to help the people of the city.
It is around mid morning when there is a message on their comms. For those that want to help it is easy to either find Anan herself or ask for netpoints and scanners to be brought to them by Chiff.
Illusions have gotten worse, uncertainty and fear are rising across all tiers and the situation is becoming more chaotic by the day. Indeed especially on the first and second tiers it seems that the voidtreckers themselves are being targeted, with creatures stalking them and attacks on their minds to make them believe that what they are seeing is real.
Same inside the Spectura system, the vines seem to almost be on the offensive against the voidtreckers though things are getting better outside the game system as more of the vicitms are freed and wake up.
Almost opposite to the situation on the lowest tier, which is getting more chaotic by the day. Anger is bubbling over, people are frightened and in a place like this the only real way to express that fear is through anger.
There has been a lot of progress but there is still a lot of work to do, especially as many of the voidtreckers have started to realise, this all seems a little too familiar.

( for kitty )
A tablet sits on the table of the ghost condo, and he's got Kitty with him, holographic imagery projecting out of the device that Tidus seems fairly comfortable working with.
"So that house we went to, it turned out it belonged to a bodyguard. And then there was another - a partner of a big boss in a power company. We know who the first guy worked for, and where the boss is, and I'm thinking getting info on one of them'll lead us somewhere, right?"
There's two maps up, showing locations around tier two, street names they may vaguely be familiar with now, and Tidus looks at Kitty, pulling the cup of his drink closer to himself.
"If you can get in, whoever's in there - I've got some tricks if they see us, and we can get the info off their IDs and get back out. What do you say? I don't think we're gonna have much longer to uncover what's going on here. We're never on a mission longer than a week."

"We can only hope so," she says. Drumming her fingers on the table, she continues looking over the map of tier two before nodding and glancing back to Tidus. "Yeah, I should be able to get in. Are we looking to just take the IDs, or just borrow them to make copies before putting them back? Because getting in once should be fine, but going in and out again is a bit riskier."

"I can put people to sleep or stun them long as I get near to them, but I don't know what the guards have on them. They've been hanging around a lot more than before." Outside the houses of rich individuals, which for them meant most of the damn tier.
"But we don't need to hang around long. Just as long as we get close to their ID bands for a few seconds, that should do the job, give her access."
no subject
"Yeah. I should be able phase us in, we copy the data from the bands, and head right back out."
no subject
"If there's guards around...can you go totally invisible? I might be able to hit them with a quick sleep attack, but."
But if Kitty can get in close without being seen, that would be even handier.

As long as she can hold her breath.

That is, monster trouble.

It was nice to joke, to calm her nerves a bit, but she becomes serious again as she checks to make sure she might need, especially in case they run into some trouble. "Yeah, I think I'm good."

Some light chatter can follow their walk, but it's once they get closer, now a street away by a check on Tidus's SCA, that he asks: "We wanna stop and peek, or try getting a look for guards while walking past? I saw that in a movie once."
...this is the level of 'stealth' you're working with here, Kitty.

"It couldn't hurt to check the perimeter. Even just a quick glance might be useful."
