By day eight the Voidtreckers have made a good deal of progress in all their tasks but there is still a lot to do to help the people of the city.

It is around mid morning when there is a message on their comms. For those that want to help it is easy to either find Anan herself or ask for netpoints and scanners to be brought to them by Chiff.

Illusions have gotten worse, uncertainty and fear are rising across all tiers and the situation is becoming more chaotic by the day. Indeed especially on the first and second tiers it seems that the voidtreckers themselves are being targeted, with creatures stalking them and attacks on their minds to make them believe that what they are seeing is real.

Same inside the Spectura system, the vines seem to almost be on the offensive against the voidtreckers though things are getting better outside the game system as more of the vicitms are freed and wake up.

Almost opposite to the situation on the lowest tier, which is getting more chaotic by the day. Anger is bubbling over, people are frightened and in a place like this the only real way to express that fear is through anger.

There has been a lot of progress but there is still a lot of work to do, especially as many of the voidtreckers have started to realise, this all seems a little too familiar.

Under the table, Gen tapped Senku's foot lightly, his smile turning a little craftier. Did this mean that Senku was looking for a distraction? "A very long day, my dear, and you haven't even put any of our research or that nice man's advice to any use, yet."

Senku gave him a bit of a look. "Really?"

"What -" Gen placed a hand over his heart. "You're saying that you're not looking to spice up our marriage, my dear? After an endless time floating through the void, our every move listened to by the train, we finally have some alone time ..."

He waggled his eyebrows, "We could be adventurous! You were all for it earlier ..."

"Sometimes, you're a pain in the ass." Senku informed him and leaned forward to steal a kiss from Gen, but also swat his shoulder at the same time.

"Did that conversation align with your interests?"

Gen had to giggle quite a bit, blushing just slightly from the kiss - he was always pleased when Senku was affectionate. Slugging his shoulder for teasing him was also affectionate.

Humming, Gen said honestly, "That conversation involved things I'd be doing with you, so, yes. Really, any activity where you're super interested in what we're doing - and, also, focused on me - is one I'm into. Which includes fun activities like telling you how much you're like a Capricorn and you arguing about how unscientific that is."

He rewarded him with another kiss and slid out of his seat to wash the container in the sink.

"Feel free to join me when you're done eating." He said with a smirk and headed for the bedroom, already shrugging off the labcoat.

Well. If that wasn't incentive for Gen to wolf down his fool and follow his husband, he didn't know what was. It's only through long habit that he remembered to take his dishes to the sink after - then he's heading right to the bedroom, happy to indulge wherever Senku's interests took him tonight.
