He'd picked up on the Morse code in the message, made his way to the cafe, and taken a table with Yondu - he doesn't know what to make of him anymore, but anyone who runs the sort of operation he does is at least competent, and that's as close as Wash can get to trust when everyone is a stranger and probably whammied to hell and back by whatever had dragged them here.
