"He has to use up the extra energy from the evolution." Takato's smile turns a little guilty. "And I kind of panicked in the moment and gave him a lot extra. The first time he evolved like this it took most of a day."

He nods. "I remembered when we got attacked. I guess I'm still not sure what's going on." A forced smile. "But that's okay. We're used to figuring things out on the way."
