The congress park is a maze of inconspicuous traps. Kind traps, for the usual meaning of the word, and dependent on one's perspective if they're kind at all. Rooms inside buildings that should run a city, a world, an interstellar relationship - all lies made possible in rooms for those who might pick up the truth.
But the lies haven't all been well-covered. There have been slip-ups, like the libraries not as well fortified, with stories inside them, but not what anyone with a scholarly eye would know the way facts are written. Stories surround this world: the stories that have been implanted on those from other worlds, stories of what this world is. A story is being told now... will it be a good one?
Visitors to this park do not bring any disturbance to the energy inside it. People are free to come and go, to walk into illusions to make them pleased and happy, to offer them what they're looking for. But Elidibus, Masumi Sera, and Roland Crane have navigated the illusions, and found the depth of where the energy is the strongest, a building they cannot enter - they will need to stop to stand where they feel 'safer', in an environment that may once again pull them into stories that aren't theirs.
At its steps, Elidibus speaks, and they will hear a voice; slumbering, deep yet whispering, voices layered upon one another. Indecisive, not knowing how it will sound.
'Hmmm... three travellers from different stars... arriving to my play. A carnival tent, ah...' A chuckle echoes in the air around them. 'I will always permit entry into my shows... my grandest show yet. A place for weary travellers to worry no more.'
Before them at the top of the stairs of doors larger than any human man, the grand stairs slowly begin to open. But beginning to approach, if they do, one will sense the same illusionary energy strong in the rooms of the congress buildings.
