To his companions, Elidibus offers an honest answer. "Yes, I had sought this outcome, though I was not certain it would be possible." But the uncertainty was far from the only reason for the deception.

"Such a meeting was only likely to occur if our group remained small. You three offer unique perspectives that may prove beneficial to our efforts at communication... if not reconciliation."

So Elidibus has hopes of reaching some sort of understanding with the entity? Well it is still early to tell. And he'll not keep the being waiting overlong for an answer. With one last word to the group, the Ascian glances between the three. "The aim here is to gain the entity's perspective if nothing more comes of this. I ask that if you have questions about my motives, that they wait until we are not keeping our host waiting."

Elidibus looks to the open doors. He doesn't move a lick closer at the obvious invitation. "Your offer of entertainment is appreciated," he speaks again to their 'host'. "Yet we must decline in hopes of speaking to you with our own voice and thoughts. Will you not accede to our request, that we might come to understand each other in better light?"
