Selene was getting a headache from just eavesdropping, trying to stay as still and quiet in her seat so she can catch the rest of the conversation from the next table over. Because, really? Voidtreckers and missions? Entities that eat worlds? The real Diagad, gone?
But most importantly: illusions, and people from different worlds. She's still very much denying the fact that this isn't her life, that this isn't her world. She hadn't cared much about the why and how, despite the fact that she trades in information around these parts. She's curious, yes, but not curious enough to want to step away from this world of make-believe.
Because here, at least, she has family.
As luck would have it, however, there's a sudden movement from somewhere behind her and she flinches, accidentally knocking over her glass of wine. So much for staying in the shadows and listening in.
