"So it seems at times," he says, calm enough, "But I've found it's political plays I have the least patience for, at the cost of innocent lives. There's no play that justifies their deaths or displacements, only unjust ones people convince themselves are otherwise."

There isn't heavy judgement when he speaks, but instead a sense of factual statement. Abducting people is not just; and violence escalates. Voidtreckers are already being blamed for the instability, and that sources back to the belief of the supporter of the system as a whole.

"Undoing the past... it's a wish, a wanting. I can understand the impulse." But it isn't something true. "But actors are still acting. A play is still a play. Truth is offstage, not performing on it."
