The monster situation was already overwhelming enough by itself, but this is a whole new level of it. Suddenly Noctis is there. And if he just warped over to her to try and protect her, it'd be one thing. She'd assume that it was just her cousin trying to protect her under some extremely scary circumstances.

But then there's that shield. And then there's someone else, a boy she doesn't recognize, yet somehow he's also calling out her name. Noctis standing in front of her with the shield partially obscures her view, but not enough for her to not see what's happening right in front of them. The sword pierces the creature with a sickening sound, and Madoka lets out a whimper, covering her face with her hands.

This can't really be happening, right? None of this makes sense. Why is the city suddenly like this?

"T-This is a nightmare.." Madoka is shaking on her legs, terrifed, even though she's just been saved.
