Quatre followed after him, having been intending whether he gestured or not. He was keeping an eye out as they walked around the island, keeping close to the edge. He was noticing the same thing: that it was hard to see what actually there due to the tall grass. It had either been a long time since whatever made them leave had happened or it did not take long for this grass to grow. Either way, it make it hard.

"Yeah, we're more likely to hear something rather than see something with all this grass. Good camouflage for something else."

Even though he didn't really WANT anything to come at them, he was curious as well how much noise it would make. If this had happened a long time ago, creatures would have adapted to make less noise, he thought.
