Sometimes he gets it wrong. Assumes the worst, that people aren't as kind as they say. He assumes ulterior motives where there are none. But one thing he usually gets right is love. He sees it in fond looks shared between lovers or friends, he hears it in words of teasing and praise from parents. He sees it because he's felt it, craved it, and been left wanting. He will absolutely call this girl out on her love.

You fight with your heart. You need to have your heart full to fight with it, even if it's not always reciprocated. Even if it's felt in silence.

He remembers what Raven told him, but doesn't want to offer her a probably misguided hope that she would get Mami back. Raven had left and returned. She'd been seen exiting the train but didn't remember that happening. Just that she'd vanished aboard and had reappeared.

"You called her family, didn't you? Even if that was the least of it, it counts. She knew."
