When a world didn't like energy forms, and half of yourself was an energy form, it just wasn't going to go well. It didn't help that energy manipulation was practically reflex for Danny. Even before volunteering to share his energy, the multiple explosions from backfired energy blasts had been taking their toll on him.

At this point the main thing keeping Danny on his feet was stubbornness.

He wavers slightly even as he tries to wave it off.
