So close, Xichen takes a moment to appreciate the familiarity of it all. He takes a deep breath, trying to commit it to memory though he knows that this is real.

The train is not a dream and he will not wake, not now. He does not know what it means for the world he's left behind but that train of thought is not one for this moment.

"The last one was difficult and I assume, given how we are hampered, this will not be easier," he says after a moment, glancing up at the sky. "We fight a war in each world we visit-- but... are there more battles ahead for us back home?"
