It's true that Alice doesn't need reassuring. After all, she's survived much worse circumstances than this for years and years, and no one ever told her there that it'd end up being alright. And yet she's still here.
But even though she doesn't necessarily need it..
"It's alright," she slowly answers. "I do not mind it when you are the one doing it." Which is entirely true. Maybe Alice is just biased, unable to dislike something done by people she has a soft spot for. And the girl walking here with her definitely has a huge soft spot in Alice.
