Jingyi was a very kind person and Taiki smiled brighter at his words, though it was still tinged with sadness as his smiles often were. It was nice of him, though Taiki of course still didn't wish to burden him so he wouldn't actually talk so much he would bore him.

"He has been king for eight years now but truthfully he only held the throne for six months. However in that time he did so much.... The kingdom was in a very bad place after the fall of the last king, especially since I was missing on earth and so no new king was on the throne for ten years."

He looked down. "But even then he hadn't sat idle, he had been one of the generals in the last kings armies and so he served as part of the government that held the kingdom between kings, doing his best to help the people survive the wait." As much as could be done without a rightful king on the throne.
