Alright, that's a fair enough question. He's trying to understand why this happened. That's going to be important to keeping it from happening again. That's fine.
He seems... measured, somehow. Composed is another good word for him, but -- It reminds her of what she'd seen in Mami at times. That pause before he sat down, the way he talks... It keeps her wary. There's more than what he's showing, and until she gets an idea of the shape of it, she feels the need to tread carefully. It isn't so much that she believes it'd be anything bad, exactly. But while she doesn't seem to react much to his decision to sit down, and doesn't seem ready to spring to her feet away from him or anything, there's still an air of a street cat around her. A hand isn't being offered for her to sniff, not really, not yet, but she hasn't decided if she's going to or not, all the same.
"Not really." More honesty, even if it's going to end up being only partial. She wants to keep her emotional state out of frame for now. "It didn't help, but my magic wasn't full when I got off the train. The way I've been purifying my Soul Gem until now... left. So." It was gonna happen sooner or later, she knows. But she also knows that there's a reason why it happened sooner rather than later, and why she didn't say anything until it was almost too late to, and that reason is... her.
