Still gripping his sword, Curufin runs to the site of the firebird's crash into the ground. Takechirou is still clinging to the bird, and Curufin is a bit worried about him. Lea, Goku, and Elidibus have aimed magical weapons or spells at the smoldering bird, and still the firebird is lighting up with fire. At least it isn't still diving at the ground team.

Curufin does not have much fear of fire, having a great deal of experience with it in his own world. He dashes near to the bird, lifts his sword and aims it with the intent of stabbing the firebird in the chest, and then he strikes.
