Because even if Madoka can't tell the exact scope of the battle out there, or even what's exactly going on.. She knows that the battles at the end of missions always tend to be big. There's a huge chance that a lot of people are going to get back here hurt, and end up needing help.

That's part of why it's so important for them to be here, right?
