It's a bit different from your usual explosive types. Oh, this one can crack through concrete, glass, wood, or even metal the way a normal one can - but it does so using concentrated sonic waves. Inside a gelatinous creature, well. It's not going to be pretty as bits vibrate apart at high speed.
