It was still strange to think about anyone outside his family having actual magic. Though apparently hers was quite a bit different than what he was used to; none of them could really be said to have an 'element', except maybe Pepa, but hers still covered as much of a range as the weather did. Nowhere near as specific as someone whose magic revolved entirely around cold.

Her idea was a good one though, regardless of magical peculiarities. "That sounds like a really great idea actually," Bruno said. "And maybe we could top it off with a wool blanket or something? If you can find one, I mean. After all, wool still keeps you warm even if it gets wet." And despite the relatively sheltered spot, getting wet was a distinct possibility in this weather.

"And counting these two, there's 20 right now. But I saw a few more back there so we'll probably end up with a full two dozen once I get those."
