She reluctantly retracted her hand, moving both to idly fiddle with her braid; not entirely certain if she should just leave now that they arrived at his cabin, or if she should wait to see if he actually said or did anything. For a few seconds, she thought he might just go inside and leave it at that. And she actually startled a bit when he cleared his throat.

"Goodnight." She replied, just a little too quickly, a smile curving the corners of her mouth up. "I will see you soon, I hope. Take care." and off she would go, if he had nothing more to say.
