Radio Communication

[This thread is for radio communication during mission three. As it is a basic open channel please reply directly to the post rather than creating threads.]

Orange Team and helpers, try and drive larger lindusi towards central locations for ease of putting them to sleep with Sing. Failing that, mark the area on a map and move on if I -to put them to sleep- or others can't get there in a reasonable time.

[By now, she'd have explained the move Sing to everyone on her team and any helpers.]

If you are around when Sing is used, listen to whatever instructions I have. But I will haul your sleeping arse back to base if you don't listen.

Gods be with us on this and let's try and get them all.

Roger that, Orange Team leader! We're bringing a large lindusi towards the truck nearest the hub.

Catfish Day 7

Sending this advisory out to all VoidTrecker teams. Sorry to bother you with my visions again, but the last one came true, and I fear that this one will, too.

Last night I dreamed that all the volcanoes on this planet were exploding into the sky at once. The earth was fairly splitting with earthquakes and lava was bursting from the ground as well as the mountains. All the forests were on fire, and ash from the fires and the volcanism was obscuring the sky so that it seemed to be night. The only light was the falling lava bombs and the meteors. The planet has been gearing up for destruction for a long time, but in my dream it was happening in real-time.

I think that this is going to happen within days. My intuition is that we don't have even a week.

Remember, if you are still on the planet when it happens, you can use your Safety Control Apparatus to save yourself. Tap it three times, and you will be instantly teleported back to the train, into the luggage compartment. if you die, you'll end up in the luggage car as well, but if you use your SCA it'll be a less unpleasant transit.

Let's all try to finish the mission as soon as possible, so that we don't have to worry about what will happen to the few people and scientists who are still on the planet. They'll all be safe on their spaceships.

Good luck, everyone!

That means no detours and sightseeing and we keep a close watch on everyone.

[As if he wasn't worried enough already...]

A small addition. It is entirely possible to evacuate two people using one SCA. I wouldn't risk it with more as it puts a serious drain on the person doing the evacuation [Last time someone got two days of compulsory medbay downtime after doing exactly that.] but it has been proven to work for two.

[That reminds him of something..]

Wait.

[He checks his SCA. There's nothing in the mission message so it must have been the announcement.]

Right before we arrived at the station there was an announcement that the evacuation protocol might not be as reliable due to adverse conditions on the surface. Let's make sure nobody needs to check if it's true.

If you had another future dream mister Curvo then we better work really really quick and get all the people and the lindusi off into the sky!

[ Replying to Fëanor ]

Agreed, no detours or sightseeing and we keep track of everyone.

Good thing, if it's possible to evac two people with one SCA. You never know when you might find people who are injured and don't have SCAs because they aren't train passengers.

[ Checks his own SCA and confirms there is nothing in the mission message that warns of unreliable evacuation protocol. ]

I wonder if what they meant was that the volcanic activity might interfere with whatever kind of subatomic particle transmission is required for teleportation. I hope not, but we'd better expect it.

[ Replying to Romeo ]

I agree, we'd better work fast and make it all happen QUICK.
