Jema'grethy: Memory Cave
Passengers see a vision, an instance of someone's life, before just as suddenly - they find themselves inside a cave. It is light, a strange moss glowing on the walls and ceiling illuminates the cave nicely, and it is large enough for them to pace around in without trouble.
They're not alone. In the cave with them is another voidtrecker; maybe someone they know well, or maybe someone they've only seen in the aisles of the train. But they are together in this cave, and they will come to find out that it was one of their memories that the other witnessed. And them, one of yours.
The cave has no exit, at least not yet. They know that it will, eventually. When the time is right.
But for that time to come, they first must talk...

And all his allies had turned on him. It happened, when people were not careful. And this Yifu seemed to be very careless indeed.
"So you do be needing to be doing everything for him now?"
How was that a good thing?
no subject
He was so bent on trying to control me and not realizing that so much of what I did was through loyalty alone. I think somewhere along the line he got too controlling and afraid things would go wrong if he didn't take care of it."
Xie'er tried to explain things as best he could. It was difficult as he was still trying to process everything himself.
no subject
His own fault, his own flaws.
no subject
You at least, seemed to have a second chance here not having to do that kind of work." Xie'er stated.
"I'll understand after this if you choose to not want to interact with me. But, I'm glad you at least were the one to learn my dark secrets. Verses some of the other people."
no subject
"Yes it do be being good that I did be finding out, rather than some of the stupid people here."
People who would judge him and hate him for it.
no subject
He did give a nod of appreciation toward her later statement. "I'm glad that you can understand what I did and not judge me harshly for my actions."
no subject
Not the tasks. They were just tasks. He did them for a man, she did similar for a god. But she thought...
"It would no be mattering what tasks you did be doing, if he did be making you be doing things that people do be finding good. You would still be doing it for nothing, because what you wanted... Was for him to be caring."
And he didn't. That was the problem.
no subject
"If you were to have met him, you would have falling for his words too. He's very skillful on knowing what to say and what to do to get you to do what he wanted. I was such a fool."
no subject
"You did maybe be being a fool but if he did be being so good at words then it probably did no all be being your fault."
She can understand feeling stupid though.
no subject
"It was my fault for giving him multiiple chances. I suppose I can ue the time here to try and start over. Only I don't know what to really do now." Xie'er admitted. He avoided eye contact for the moment, embarrassed by his open display from earlier.
no subject
"You could be starting over. No one do be knowing you here so you can be being whoever you do be wanting." Probably. She tilted her head. "So you can be doing whatever you do be wanting to be doing."
As hard as that was to choose.

"I know alot about healing and would like to be able to use those skills here." He stated after a while. He didn't have a whole lot of purpose now. It had always been to serve Yifu and now he had no goal in mind.
no subject
"We do always be needing healing. People do be getting hurt a lot."
She sighed. "You would rather be doing that? Healing and no killing?"
She's almost disappointed.
no subject
He appeared to be more wistful at the thought of using his poisons again. However he would be willing to mold himself to what was acceptable if it allowed him to survive. Who said he still couldn't kill someone if he had to?
no subject
She tilted her head. He might be a good person for him to meet, maybe they could help each other. Maybe they would make each other worse. They were very similar in many ways.
"He do be using poisons too, he do be knowing a lot."
no subject
Did you have any special techniques that you specifically used more then others?"
no subject
And they could be weird and slightly leaky eyed together. Not that Xue Yang had ever gotten leaky eyed in front of her, but it was obvious he did that, sometimes. Probably alone.
He also held other peoples opinions very highly.
"His poisons do be being useful though." She sighed and then shrugged. "I do be knowing some poisons, I do still be learning though."
no subject
The idea of having a student gave him a small sense of purpose. He was starting to feel like his normal self again.
no subject
It was useful to keep her skills sharp, though poison wasn't something she could ask just anyone to teach her.
She would be happy to learn, sort of.
"What do you be wanting in return?"
no subject
He smiled, simply pleased by the notion to teach. "I don't need anything in return. I'm happy to share the knowledge with someone who I think will appreciate the art."
no subject
But she could work hard. "I do be wanting to be learning."
She looked up as a door appeared. "We did be doing it."
no subject
Like before he waited till she left before he left as well.
no subject
Why? She had no idea but it was how it had worked last time.
no subject
Xie'er rarely moved to join LO and walked her through the door. He didn't understand the reason for this, but simply accepted it for now.
no subject
She hoped not, it had been weird, to be connected like that. He was no less dangerous than Mami had been but in a diffferent way.
She sighed. Whatever. It's not like they had a choice. She nodded at him and stepped through the doorway.
