"Focus on this, then." Alice punctuates her words with another squeeze of their joint hands, like she's trying to draw Guri's attention mostly towards there.

Alice knows the exact problem the other is dealing with in this moment. Even if her own way of recalling memories is not quite as exact as Guri's own, she has other issues that tend to make memories feel much too overwhelming for any normal person. So she gets it. How easy it can be to lose yourself into such a memory. How hard it can be to pull yourself back out.

But she does - thankfully - know what works for her. It's often the physical presence of something real. It's what Alice has often used her plush rabbit for, but she hopes to be able to be something similar for Guri in this moment, while they're standing here together.
