Something about being looked at that does make Alice a tad self conscious, but she just allows it. It's what is helping Guri here, after all, even if it means that Alice is well aware the other is looking at Alice's sickly pale skin that no amount of sun seems to help at this point, and the dark circles around her eyes that are basically burned into the skin there at this point.

But she doesn't look away. She doesn't try to hide her face. Instead she looks back at the other, continuing to hold Guri's hands as well and tightly as she can, just as a reminder of what's real.

"You are not a monster. You can't be abused any longer."

Thankfully. Because even though the memory didn't make Alice judge Guri, it did make her heart ache for the other - seeing just what sort of stuff the other was forced to do in the past.

"I will make sure no one can use you like that ever again, as long as I am here with you."
