"Then we keep making new moments," she replied. "Every chance we get. I'll happily work to make sure you get more like this.

The latter wording, though, the closeness - it all reminds her of another dream, another time. When she hadn't even realized she was anything other than human. The closeness is nice, gentle; relaxing and yet...exhilarating, in its way, in its novelty. In that dream, there had been some of it, true, but this is real.

"I care for you, too," she said, with a smile.

And, she realized, she really did.
