Mission Five: Conclusion

The Voidtreckers turn the tide, save the day. That isn't to say it is easy or straightforward, the battles are tough but together Red Team prevents the mega weapon getting through, orange team maintain shields, blue team fend off those trying to attack the command centre and purple fight the battle of their lives.

The system is safe and everyone who hasn't already evacuated back to the train using their SCA can gather on the space station again. There is a roar of noise as the Void Trecker Express appears in the hanger once more, noise and wind rushing through their hair it is no mystery why the army here reacted in shock at their initial arrival.

Hitrinto is there, as are many of those the void treckers have met in their week in this system. Here to thank them for their timely rescue and to wave them off.

The voidtreckers as well are reunited, the four teams back as one and it is time to re-board the Voidtrecker Express and move on to the next adventure!

Daia frowns when people being hurt is brought up. And he's not quite sure what to say to that. He can't help but sound somber when he speaks up again.

"But... you did your best, didn't you? More people probably would have suffered if we weren't there, right?"

He's less looking for a bright side in this now, and trying to make sure he wasn't useless, too. After all, he didn't know anything about electronics before this mission. And he couldn't have fought if that was his front line, too.

But being there and losing some is better than not being there at all and losing everything, isn't it?

"Yeah, I did, I just..." He took a deep breath, mulling things over for a minute. "I'm sure we did great, overall, I just don't have a whole lot of useful skills." Maybe he shouldn't really complain at all. Other people had had it a lot worse. They'd been out there fighting, actually repairing things, and maybe he didn't have a right to whine about not feeling like he'd helped enough. At least he was aware of his flaws. "I guess it's not too late to change that."
