Onward: Blue
On the second night the ground begins to shake. The islanders seem well versed in earthquake safety and there is no mass panic- from them anyways. They will help any voidtreckers who don't know what to do in such a situation. The shaking is over quickly and is not strong enough to do any major damage though there are some after shocks throughout the day.
More worryingly are the thick clouds that roll out, covering the sky. Despite the memories these might invoke in the void warriors they are normal clouds.
Or perhaps not that normal, dawn breaks into darkness, the sun barely penetrating. Shadows are deep and the temperature cooler. It is not too dark to see, more like an endless twilight.
The monsters do not retreat into the sea as dawn comes. Instead they continue their attack into the day, unrelenting.
The seas themselves are rough, large waves crashing down onto the beach. The current is strong, as if the very sea itself is fighting them.

Re: Lea - OTA
He managed to roll to his knees and launch a fireball at the creature. It struck home, and was enough to apparently discourage it from coming closer for the moment, but Lea was still winded and half stunned, and struggled to get his feet back under him. He could definitely use an assist right then...

Re: Lea - OTA
"Thanks for the save," Lea said as he took up position near Xion. "Really starting to hate squids." Said quid was recovering from its shock and squirming their way for another round. Hopefully this time they could avoid having the thing fall on them.
Re: Lea - OTA
and the one who was holding the stick, but Xion wouldn't agree with that bit easily, so...
Re: Lea - OTA
"Just what I was thinking," Lea said. Figure a double Firaga'll do the trick." And with that, he formed a large fireball in his hands, giving enough time for Xion to gather her spell too, and fired it off at the squid monster.

"Well this whole thing is getting pretty icky," he said. "You holding up alright?"

Re: Lea - OTA
"Speaking of which, don't forget to take a break yourself if you need to. Compared to our usual missions, this one's a real marathon."

Wrap here?
but she nodded and readied her Keyblade. "Right."
Yep. TY for the thread! :)
He summoned a little fireball in his hand, flashed Xion a bit of a tired grin, then turned back to face the next monster on the beach. Back to work.
