Onward: Blue

On the second night the ground begins to shake. The islanders seem well versed in earthquake safety and there is no mass panic- from them anyways. They will help any voidtreckers who don't know what to do in such a situation. The shaking is over quickly and is not strong enough to do any major damage though there are some after shocks throughout the day.

More worryingly are the thick clouds that roll out, covering the sky. Despite the memories these might invoke in the void warriors they are normal clouds.

Or perhaps not that normal, dawn breaks into darkness, the sun barely penetrating. Shadows are deep and the temperature cooler. It is not too dark to see, more like an endless twilight.

The monsters do not retreat into the sea as dawn comes. Instead they continue their attack into the day, unrelenting.

The seas themselves are rough, large waves crashing down onto the beach. The current is strong, as if the very sea itself is fighting them.

"Yes I will. Can they count of you if you end up passed out because your exhausted? I don't think so." She managed to kick a crab so hard it went flying onto it's back.

"I won't pass out until it is over. They know that." She firmly believed that her friends knew she would keep going till the mission was done. And that they knew she would then probably sleep for a whole month after.

Hopefully Roxas was collecting shells....

"I still believe you need to learn what to back down and rest and reply on others to handle it because I worry someday you won't and it will be at the worse possible moment." Minako herself has never over-exhausted herself and knew that if she did and had to take forever to recover then she couldn't do her job if something else were to happen. That thought was always something that terrified her.

"I get wanting to be this big hero and feel like you can take on everything because powers and all, but resting when you need to helps much more than going until you are exhausted. Even I know I will back out of fights and trust in others to keep it going while I rest up ."

"You don't need to worry for me. I'm not a hero. I'm a Nobody." Or she was? She's... still not fully clear on that, really. "I'm just here because it is a mission."

"As much as I know not to worry. Since your part of the same team, I just cannot help but worry." Yes, it was just a mission but for Minako she also kind of wanted to make sure no one could get hurt.

"Is that a having a heart thing....?" She didn't understand it. At least, she didn't think she did. She was still learning to identify what actually was a feeling, let alone what each feeling should be called. But hadn't Axel and Roxas worried about her? Had they? She bent to pick up a shell before standing to look for them, feeling the hard edges of the shell through her glove as she closed her hand tightly around it.

"I don't know what you mean at all by having a heart. I mean I do because that's how I am alive and all." After all, it beats blood around the body, something that her body needs to do.

"But caring or worrying is an emotion if that is what you mean"

"Oh." Emotions. She was still learning those. "So someone without a heart... isn't alive? Doesn't exist?"

"I mean in my world not having one means one would be a zombie or something. The undead. But then you have a different meaning of heart and that is like emotions and stuff."

Now she was really confused. "That's different? Doesn't un something mean the opposite? Wouldn't undead be alive?" She was trying not to make sounds of distress, but every time she thought she was beginning to understand all this heart stuff, someone came along and confused her again.

"Not in the same way, but yes. Zombies are terrifying though considering they just want to eat your brains and such." She kind of hoped they neer4 heads to go on a mission involving zombies like that. That would be creepy.

"I just eat ice cream..." Did this weird Somebody think that Nobodies wanted to eat brains and... whatever such meant? Was such ice cream? Was she a zombie? She'd have to ask Axel. He could unconfuse her, maybe.

"Oh...were we on about you?" She thought she was talking about zombies, she hadn't really thought it was about an actual person.

But for the time being her focus was back on what was heading toward them as she managed to knock back one crab.

She readied herself to fight again. "Were we not?" She was used to being confused. And right now the battle mattered more.

Minako nodded slightly, soon getting back to focus on the situation 100% rather than less than that. After a few more fell she started to look over "Is it okay if I head over there. I think there might be people needing help there"

"Why wouldn't it be?" Why was the Somebody even asking? If she wanted to leave, why didn't she just.. leave?

"Because sometimes the numbers might be a bit to much for one person. Right now it seems like it's not the case, but I worry it might change and if it does if you think you could alone?"

[nobodys_puppet]

"I'm not a person," she said simply. At least she didn't think she was. "And I've fought large numbers of monsters before."

[loveandduty]

"You mean you are something that takes human form?" Was what entered her head anyway. But at least they were also use to monsters, which was good for this type of thing.

"I was created to this form," she said, looking down at her gloved hands a moment. She spotted a shell and plucked it up before putting it in her pocket. "It is not human, it only looks like a person, this body."

[loveandduty]

"Okay, yet you still seem to be more human than say what we are fighting right now." Which speaking of that, Minako was back to focusing on what was coming towards them.

She readied herself to fight as well. "Nobodies look human, and I was created to imitate a Nobody," she said as if that was a simple fact, one that had nothing to do with her. "FIGARA!" she yelled, lobbing a fireball at the creature.

[loveandduty]

"I have no idea what a nobody is except that. But I think it's best we get back to focusing on this." she managed to leap over on of the incoming crabs.

"I am going to go on ahead and check to see if there are others that need help."
