Final: Blue
The siege continues. Crabs, giant squids, shark head beasts, all continue out of the sea. The islanders are in good spirits though and everyone pulls their weight. Traps are set, settlements defended. Some of the older islanders have taken it upon themselves to make sure everyone is fed and rested and so in quiet moments those who cannot fight are sent with packs of foods to give to those patrolling and guarding.
Those voidtreckers who don't know how to rest may find themselves practically kidnapped by a well meaning islander and forced to eat and sleep.
All the time the sky is getting darker, the seas rougher.
Day Ten
Just after dawn on day ten the storm breaks. Crashing thunder, lightning and roiling seas. The water swirls and seems to rise, it is rising, up and up a wave so high that you may fear that when it breaks it could swallow the island whole.
But it doesn't break, instead twists, taking form. A huge towering beast made of water and sand. A hand swipes down over a patch of beach, a wall of water to knock any fighters off their feet.
Around the same time, those not busy being attacked by the water monster will notice their SCA's light up and a screen appear. They might hear some familiar voices.
It seems there is more than fighting a monster to be done!
Beacon Building
Assuming the information is given those of the island will suggest the best place for a beacon to be built- the cliffs are the highest point on the island.
It will be hard work lugging wood up there in a storm, not to mention actually building and lighting a fire as cloud is low, rain is heavy and the wind is high.

But he couldn't die from it, and there would be time enough afterwards for healing. As long as they ensured that there will be an afterwards. Unable to reach the giant with his blade, he was clearing the beach of the smaller monsters with efficient, aggressive strikes. It would be one less distraction for the others.

However, the giant water monster was a good excuse to forgo holding back his strength. The green-skinned alien powered up a ball of energy in his hand and then let it fly towards the water monster. It was a relatively small and weak ki blast but it was enough to let Piccolo know he needn't worry about his fighting ability. His strength wasn't effected, and he could easily deal with not having ki sense while fighting something so large, surely.

With energy charged and glowing in his blade, Tidus jumps on the face of a shark-headed beast, using its dumb face as a boost into the air. With height and his weapon ready, he swings the sword, allowing the energy to fly like missiles for the limb, and hopefully cause some damage--and even better, stop it from swatting fighters like flies--once they explode.
It won't stop him from dealing with the ground foes, and hopefully, he'll be able to help those with stronger magic concentrate on the bigger issue by joining in on taking out the smaller miscreants.

A hand swipes out towards the two of them, to try and swat them away like flies.
Joint tag with Madoka
"... Do you trust me?" He asked softly. Yes, he looked exhausted, the bags under his eyes were darker than ever. But there was an intensity to his gaze. Almost a need to hear the words. "... Do you trust in my strength?"
Madoka glances between Maru and the huge monster, obviously worried. Though more about the monster and its sheer size rather than the other's question.
She tries her best to not focus on how much it seems like that thing could easily wipe them all away, instead nodding. "O.. Of course." She starts hesitantly because of the worry, but then manages to scrape together a bit more of her courage. "I trust you. I believe in you, no matter what."
Maru... smiled. He leaned in and gently touched his cheek to hers, much the way he would have done had he been a cat, and lowered his voice to a whisper. "Keep believing... Don't be afraid of me..."
And then he pulled away and turned. He jumped off of the barricade and he ran across the beach as the creature started it's swing. As Maru ran a blue, glowing light enveloped him, much the same was as it had when he had formed his bond with Madoka. Except this time the chain binding him to her disappeared and Maru grew in size.
In a matter of seconds there was a monstrous Black Lion barrelling toward the creature, skidding across the sand to jump in the way of the attack before it hit his teammates. He roared as he was tossed aside, rolling to a stop only to quickly get back to his feet and stalk the thing. If he could keep it's attention. If he could distract it. The others could take it down.

Jumping in a little after the giant lion had gone to make the attack, she managed to pull off the belt that always sat around her waist. She figured this wasn't going to be a lot useful, but it was better than nothing.
So holding it up she was prepared to call out "Venus Love and Beauty Shock~!" and unleashed her own blast on energy toward the creature.

"Whoa whoa, don't get handsy!"
So much for the plan of dealing handling pest control, once that thing comes swinging again. The sloshing foot sent most of the monsters on Tidus's way back down scattering across the beach, which is great, except for the allies it took. But then comes a great big...blue guy, a lot of blue, absorbing the attack that Tidus was on the run from, the haste spell counteracting some of the slowdown from the wet sand.
Waiting to see what more ranged fighters can throw at the oversized Tidus keeps a distance for now, but throws a slow spell at the nearby hand. Hopefully it'll affect that limb, if not the rest of the abomination controlling it.

He'd heard Tony's voice at the end of it and then went outside to face the the ominous thunder and lightning. His green eyes went wide at first with the form taking shape in the water but then he thought of the child and pushed his glasses back up on his nose before heading into battle. Having seen what was done, Ignis still pushed onward to get in on this.
It was a bit taller than he could jump because he wasn't Aranea. But he got as high as he could before summoning his lance and landing on top of an arm.
Looking down was when he noticed his fighters and a huge lion..thing. Well from a brief glance it appeared to be on their side. At this point he wasn't going to even think to question it.

And the foot that came down once more onto the sand did so in slow motion, hopefully allowing people more time to scatter. Still waves of water wash across the sand as the creature twists, trying to dislodge Ignis from its arm.

A large paw struck out, claws raking down the creatures chest. Whether it would do much against water and sand was anyone's guess. But with it's focus on the Lion, the others stood a chance of finding a way to bring the creature to it's knees. He hoped. He wouldn't last much longer...

Fine. It left him the opportunity to prepare another attack. Piccolo didn't know how effective it would be on something made out of water but his most powerful attack was the Makankōsappō. He put his two fingers to his forehead and began to charge the energy attack.
When the foot came he nimbly dodged it. It was moving too slow and his charging the attack didn't leave him helpless these days. He could fight an entire battle while charging it.
What Piccolo really wanted to figure out was where to aim the attack. Was there a weak spot on this creature? Or should he just aim for the middle and hope for the best? His eyes scanned over the beast carefully as he continued to charge his attack.

The foot swings out again, this time in a sweeping kick, to try and push anyone still in it's vicinity backwards, preferably into the sea itself.

All he could do was keep it's front occupied. He slashed at it with his front paws, clinging to the arm hard enough to near chew through the thing.
He knew he was as big a target as the creature was, the others needed to hurry... Time was running out.

She had also made sure to keep her distance back.

Down it fell, crashing into the sand with a splash, sending waves outwards and then inwards as the water returned to its body. The tide was strong and sent some crabs spinning off towards the sea.
The creature is still alive though and it lashes out at anyone nearby, trying to grab them in watery limbs.

And then blue white light enveloped it and the Lion vanished, shrinking down until all that was left was a small, black cat sprawled out asleep in the sand beside the surf.

His eyebrows jerked upward when he saw the transformation. Crap! That was Maru!
He dashed forward, dodging attacks and whatever else was going on around them. He scooped up the kitten and stuck it in his hoodie's pouch. Keeping a protective hand on the outside of the pocket, he promised, "I've got you Maru! You're safe, kitty."

As the blonde held onto whatever it was (because Ignis was focused on the water giant) he half pushed the marksman out of the way before pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. Readying his lance again, Ignis leaped up onto a watery limb that had come down for the blonde.
Sticking his lance in, he tried to find purchase. If it had a face, it was getting stabbed.

Noticing another going in for a closer attack gave Minako the idea to perhaps try the same, so she moved making sure to avoid where the other was attacking, leaping as high as she could over in incoming limb and getting as close and personal as she was able to in order to for once use the sword she had on her from the battled before she found she could trasnform to attempt to slash at the limb just to keep it from going to the other and instead focusing on her.
Hoping it is okay to tag into this super late?

Ignis's spear hit its face, or at least where a face would be if this were not a monster of the sea and sand and Minako slashed out at a limb.
It thrashed on the ground, sending a wave out towards Xion and trying to knock the others off it's limbs. It is clear it is floundering though, it has made no attempt to get back to its feet.

Waiting for his attack seemed par for the course for him but that didn't mean he had to like it. However, he kept clear despite his instinct to dive in and help protect others from the flailing attacks. It was best he focus.
The wait was worth it. As the creature thrashed about Piccolo floated higher into the air to keep out of its reach and positioned himself directly over the monster. With a growl he threw his two pointed fingers at the beast and the directed beam of drilling energy bored straight into the giant water monster's chest.

But she seemed okay for the moment, slowly moving to sit up and look over.
