For the third option, a list of passengers appears and names can be searched for by letter. Anyone who has been working to try and make communications happen on their own devices will find those linked in to this network- though it is still only possible to use voice. If they have headphones from the music room they can make it so they work like earpieces.

[He's trying to be helpful fixing lights when he hears a familiar voice over the SCA, and his name.]

Tidus? Are you alright? If I hear what?

[Why did he cut off like that?]

[ At first Inigo doesn't feel the need to respond to the messages. Sure, he can hear them, but he figures it's not something he needs to nosily jump in on just yet. Especially when he's got enough to deal with over here.

.. Until moments pass and Tidus doesn't reply. What the hell, bro. ]

Taiki. Did he reply to you one on one? [ Because surely Tidus wouldn't keep Taiki hanging like that, right? ]

Inigo? [He sounds very worried now. He has spent the last few moments staring at his SCA willing Tidus to reply and imagining every single terrible scenario that could have happened to cut him off like that.] No... No I don't know... Tidus are you alright?

[ Sweet Naga, Tidus, this is why you don't start a conversation in the middle of a fight! Inigo is quiet for another moment as he waits for a reply, only to still not hear anything. ]

He's.. probably just busy fighting.

[ Not that Inigo isn't worried too. But someone has to be the positive one here, even if it's just to comfort Taiki, and Inigo has already dedicated his life to that role. So he's good at keeping it out of his tone. ]

I'm sure he will reply the moment he's done. Don't worry, Taiki.

[ There is something keeping the line open, the sound of nearby action, shouts and the shrieks of the fiends that have been terrorising everyone everywhere caught over an SCA. A sound of swishing wind briefly, and-- ]

--hi?

[ someone talking right into the mic. ]

[He's dead. He's definitely dead. A monster has gotten him. He can hear monsters growling and shrieking. He can hear shouting. He can hear... Is that singing?

He feels like his heart if going to beat out of his chest. even Inigo's words don't calm him and he gives a gasp of relief when he hears the voice.]

Tidus?

[ Is Inigo just as relieved as Taiki? Yes.

Is he going to show that? Of course not. ]

You-- You're too close to the device! [ Dude, volume control! Please! ]

Taiki!

[ There's a fiddling, his voice too loud once more over the device, but it's better once he speaks again. ]

Sorry, earpiece got knocked! Inigo? You with Taiki?

[It is worth his ears being seared, to know Tidus is alive.]

No... Inigo is still underground... Right?

[ Tidus sounds okay enough, thankfully. Hopefully he can make it through the battle okay. Inigo doesn't doubt his capabilities as a warrior after seeing him fight back on the beach, but it's not like he knows how tough of an enemy they're fighting. And Taiki sounds okay too - relatively speaking, anyway, considering Inigo knows the other still can't be at 100% with Gyousou being gone.

So Inigo makes sure to put extra spirit into his own voice to keep the mood up as much as possible. ]

Yes. Some tunnel opened up, and a lot of us went further down in there. I stayed behind since otherwise not a lot of people would be left to defend the city from the monsters that are still attacking.

[ It takes a few seconds for Tidus to respond, hearing them both, but the fiends don't stop to give him the chance to be distracted by anything but answering their claws. The SCA is his only resourceful light beyond his magic, and there's the clash of a weapon in his silence, the shriek of one of those beasts.

Nothing, and then- ]

You keep up the good work. Taiki, help with the lights if you can! This'll be over soon!

[ He has to be quick, he can't think for long. At least there's others like B and the rest keeping some of these things back. ]

I am. [The sounds of battles are terrible though the SCA but hearing Tidus' voice is relieving.

But he knows he should let them both get back to concentrating, to not distract them when they are both in danger.

But a moment later he gasps, a sound of amazement, rather than fear though he quickly stifles it.]

[ Inigo is quiet - like he's either distracted by something himself or giving the two of them the chance to say something instead.

But then there's that sound from Taiki. Considering how quiet the other can be, it's hard to ignore. ]

Taiki? Is something going on there?

[ He's hoping at least Taiki is safe? Tidus can fight, and he himself can fight, but Taiki is a different story entirely. ]

Eh? [ What? What did Inigo say? ] Ignito?

[ Don't mind him saying names wrong right now what's going on over there- ]

Sorry... [Focus, he drags his attention to the conversation, away from the awe threatening to overwhelm him.]

Lord Gyousou... I can feel him... [He doesn't have to hide it, not the fact he can sense him and not the relief that brings him.]

[ Your weird way of saying Inigo's name will be excused this once, Tidus!

.. Mostly since Inigo is very, very distracted by what Taiki says. It's not the sensing him part that's so weird, no, it's just that Inigo really didn't expect him to show back up again until at least after the mission was done. ]

Feel him? Wait.. is he back?

He is? Hey hey, that's great news!

[ Don't worry, Tidus is here to give the appropriate levels of excitement over Gyousou's apparent return. He may be heard breathing heavily, but Tidus's running around isn't going to stop him talking! ]

How close? Let's find him! Once everything is--whoa!

[ Okay, maybe the clawed fiends will. ]

Yes. I don't know. [It's strange, he can normally point reliably in the direction of his king at any time. But now it is... He's here. On this world. But the direction. Up? Up is definitely right.]

The train I think... [That's sort of obvious, considering people wake up in the luggage carriage.

He stares at his SCA. It would be so easy. Tap three times, tap three times and he will be on the train as well, with his king.

But Tidus' voice cuts out with a yell and he is reminded what is going on here, his friend is fighting. He has lights to finish fixing. He can't leave. As much as he wants to.]

Tidus! Are you alright?

Tidus--

[ Inigo's voice sounds half-worried, half-exasperated. ]

Just cut the connection! Focus on fighting! We won't disappear just because you have something else to do for ten minutes! [ And he's going to feel super guilty if Tidus gets hurt just because they were being distracting, okay.. ]

And Taiki.. shouldn't you go see him? If he's on the train, you could go to him!

Sorry, sorry! [ Tidus pipes right back in just as Inigo's done talking, and- ]

Tell Saku I missed him, okay see ya!

[ and then he's gone, that message rushed out--only half a braincell used in deciding what to say. ]

[He's glad when Tidus goes back to focusing on what he was doing. Not that he didn't want to hear his voice, know he was safe. But he would be better able to stay safe if he wasn't distracted.

He would just worry until he saw him again.

He was silent for a moment after Inigo spoke.]

I know.

[ Thank Naga Tidus is focusing on one thing at a time now. Somehow it feels much easier to worry a tad less about him now. Inigo knows Tidus is capable. As long as he's focused, he's going to return to them later.

With that worry out of the way it's a lot easier to focus on Taiki and his issue, though he almost worries that Taiki cut the feed too with that moment of silence before he speaks. ]

.. but..? [ Inigo slowly adds. He was expecting Taiki to hop to Gyousou's side right away, but it doesn't sound like he is. So why? ]

I want to. [Wants more than anything. But it is enough, for now, to know he is back. He is on the train. He is here.]

I'm fixing lights with Kaiba... I know he probably doesn't need my help and I might just be in the way...

[Like he has been for the entirety for this mission, honestly.]

But I should finish the job...

Taiki.. You're never in the way. You're so sweet and helpful, so your presence is always a good thing, no matter the occasion.

[ And if anyone thinks otherwise, they can come FIGHT INIGO. ]

I'm sure he appreciates your help. Especially since you're so strong to want to help finish that up, instead of going towards where your heart is most likely pointing you right away. Not everyone would be that strong.

[That is... He can't even respond to that. It's not true. He's always in the way. He's a useless, hornless kirin with no way to help anybody. Everything he's ever tried... It has all failed. He has failed.

Even here, he is less than useful, dizzy from blood sickness, knowing very little about fixing lights, unable to help when Tidus and Inigo are out there in danger...

The least he can do is try.]

[He's pretty sure that is the case. His king would never abandon people in danger and he would expect the same of his kirin.]
