Final: Red and Orange
Orange: Clustering
Luckily for those in the facility, with help of some Terran friends they have managed to restore the lights inside the laboratory. It gives them reprise at least.
The night of the sixth day (G10) they will notice a large amount of creatures outside. Away from the light of the facility, but as close as they can be. Surrounding the place. More each hour. Some even get closer, clambering up onto the roof.
A few try to break the glass, but whatever this facility is made out of is tough enough to withstand it. They seem to have learned something these last few nights, sneaking through the shadows, avoiding the beam of light. Others go for the lights themselves, trying to smash those. For the most part they are unsuccessful as well, though a few of the roof lights go dark, creating more shadows for monsters to swarm.
A Discovery: Red.
Following the map on their SCA’s takes them to not far from the laboratory where Orange team are currently holed up. Perhaps an hour or two walk away. Provided they make good progress in daylight hours they will come to the place on the map by mid morning of the seventh day (G11). There, in a sand dune, is a giant orb. Larger than any they have seen. About five meters in diameter. Apart from that it seems much the same as the others, silver, eerie and beautiful.
It floats in the air. There are other orbs around it, normal sized. A great cluster. As if they have been drawn here.
Preparations: Orange
The alarm has been sounding more every night and the line growing larger. It seems whatever is approaching is close.
More immediate by the seventh day (G11) perhaps is the now many orbs surrounding the facility and floating just off the roof. Knowing what they do about them they might not want this many close once night falls.
They also may wish to fix the broken lights and maybe find some way to create more light, position some of the spotlights found in the laboratory perhaps. Whatever is coming, whatever Red had found, they will most likely need light to deal with it if it is related to these creatures.
And of course, those that wish to can move towards where red team have found themselves. They may need the help.
Nightfall: Red
Night falls. The orbs melt away, all of them sinking to the floor, monsters rising in their place. In the centre of the monster group the large orb melts away to reveal a large silver creature. Silver limbs push off the floor as it begins to move, slowly and steadily in the direction of the facility. It has, like the smaller creatures black gem-like eyes, four pairs even. But watching the creature for more than a moment will reveal that it has a defence the smaller creatures do not: eyelids. It blinks slowly as it moves.

With her belt currently back around her waist she moved forward going towards one of the monsters attack in order to simply kick them away. She could have used her attack again, but at this moment in time she figured she would stop doing that due to the fact she didn't know how long this fight was going to go on for.

...
He's going to sit on this rock right here and take a small break, looking a bit winded. Hopefully this alien planet doesn't much mind rampant Eorzean plant life, because he has no intention of removing them and some of those species are desert-hardy.

As he neared the large monster he leap up into the air and "wall" jumped up its arm, shoulder, and finally landed on its head. Its thrashing made his balance precarious but this sort of thing was Reno's forte. This thing may have had eyelids but if they all kept hitting it at once like this it had to still hurt it. No one's eyelids were that thick, right? Reno smashed his rod down on the thing's head and sent a large electrical burst down over its ugly face.

Just in case, she tapped her SCA, glad her earpiece was still in.
"Anyone want a ride to the big one?"
no subject
The large monster was still thrashing. There didn't seem to be much of an aim to its movements as Curufin's visit kept searing it and Reno's electricity flowed through it.
Claws lashed out, trying to rid itself of webs and hair alike.

And there, eventually, was Kaiba. The team of mechanics had worked on repairing and moving a large floodlight into position throughout the day, but they were heavy and it was a slow process, volunteers rotating in and out. And now, hindering them further, their strongest people were all out there in the battle, and in rough shape.
But he was almost there, and with a little help he could shoot this floodlight right at their target. He flicked it on to test---oh boy, was that bright. It just needed to move some.

But then he looked back and saw Kaiba wrestling with the big metal fixture. He ran back to help him, and when Kaiba thought the light was in the right position, Curufin ran back to his earlier position, not far from the boss monster, too close for comfort, in fact. He went back to dodging the lashing claws and fiercely transmitting the blazing vision. In between dodges, he struck at the medium-sized and smaller-sized monsters, trying to keep them from attacking Venus and Tidus.
And all the while, he kept the vision going; the dazzling sun kept shooting its beams into the big monster's eyes.

It has to be and there's a sharp 'Go!' as she tosses Dancer into the air yet again, and the red oricorio glows as she wings it towards the monster, a fiery white flame starting to wreath her wings.
"Buy her time!" Eva yells, throwing her voice up as loud as she can in hopes at least some of the other fighters will hear it. "'God Bird' takes time to charge and if she's hit before she can hit the big one-"

Even with speed, the monster managed to swipe its claws towards her hair, swiping directly through it causing the young girl's eyes to widen slightly "No!" she called as the long locks slowly turned to brown on the ground and left lightless as Rapunzel's own hair changed from tip to root from blonde to brown.
"No..." she muttered slightly before remembering that she was right in the middle of a fight here. Moving to block the next incoming attack with her frying pan she tried her best to attempt to move to the backlinks.

He fires his webs at a few getting too close to Uta and Punz and yanks them back, trying to throw them directly at the big monster and then hops again, this time trying to web the claws up. It can't cut this webs if the claws are tied up.

Now free from both the hair and the webs that had entangled it the creature began to vibrate again, hunching, just as if it was going to run again...
If there was ever a time to focus the force of all their lights, it was now.

Curufin shouted again, in his loudest battlefield voice, "LET'S HIT THE BOSS MONSTER AGAIN, ALL AT ONCE NOW, KNOCK THE CRAP OUT OF IT!"
And he poured all his energy into his vision again, charging it up with even more power than it had had before. The blazing sun rippled again, first with rainbow light and then with white light that radiated into the huge monster's eyes, burning like the axis of a neutron star.

He held on, shifting it with every slight movement the monster made. No escape this time.

She doesn't, exactly, make contact with the monster, but between the white-flamed flap of wings and the FOOMPH! of two powerful fires coming together (though, sadly, not a critical hit), it's an easy mistake to make. Dancer wheels away as the flames subside, and it's of note that nothing catches alight.
Eva herself is already moving to shield Kaiba, ready to yeet herself into harm's way should the monster turn it's attention onto him.
END~ Thank you all
For a moment it seemed like it was drawing into itself, shrinking slightly and then it burst outward, shattering into shards that sank into the desert sand.
Across the battlefield any smaller and medium monsters that hadn't already been destroyed shattered as well until there were only voidtreckers left scattered across the sand.
