Itsuki - Cure Patrol

Sometimes, being an ex-Guardian Corps soldier means being intensely aware of when people are trying to smuggle something past you. Luckily, the 'ex-' means she also doesn't need to call her on it. Either she'll find out sometime, or it'll never come up, and more power to Itsuki. Or something. She assumes it's a weapon, and just goes with it. Bar a brief raise of one eyebrow, because that wouldn't fly past some of the others.

She returns to the subject at hand as she turns back inland.

"If people show up from the same world, I guess they tend to know each other, so... Maybe you'll see your friend sometime."

Admittedly, Itsuki's pretty sure she'd rather have the conversation for smuggling her transformation trinket onto her own person than for going into potential combat unarmed. Not that she knows Light realized anything, so. Oops. Satisfied it's safe enough in her hoodie, she nods as she rejoins Light. "Probably, although there are some... special cases." Heaven forbid Momoko showed up... or Dark Precure somehow arrived, the train would turn into a battleground in seconds. The grimace on her face probably communicates her meaning well enough. "No, if anyone shows up, I'm going to hope it's Erika-san and panic if it's anyone else."

Huh. She looks back, that eyebrow right back up again.

"Have a lot of enemies, or does your world just suck?"

...Itsuki really needs to write down her story somewhere, before she blows her cover. She doesn't panic too much this time, though; it's a fair question, and one she's thought on lately. "Mm, a few enemies. My world is... well, it was bad, and since I've heard there are people that are here from the same place but different times, I'd be worried about certain people coming from my past. It's better now, though! From my time, I'd be happy with just about anyone I know." Although the people she knows at home also know what she is, so she'd panic in a different way.

"Right, the 'different times' thing..." She hops up a small ledge formed from sand and a mess of tree roots, and glances back to check Itsuki's progress. How many worlds are crapshoots? She's not sure she's met many passengers who come from well-adjusted, peaceful worlds.

But then again, maybe people from those kinds of worlds didn't make for good voidtreckers. "Honestly, I'd be more nervous if someone showed up from the future. What are you supposed to do, at that point? Different worlds is bad enough."

Between magical girl work and training, Itsuki's no slouch at going off the beaten path, so she's keeping up well enough, provided Light keeps her age in mind. She slows a little as the question processes, though, and there's a very clear grimace on her face. "That's fair, too. I know how to deal with things I've already dealt with, even if it'd be a pain without certain things. Stuff from the future... I might be in trouble." Heaven forbid an enemy showed up from after she left, with no Cure team to deal with them... They'd have to figure out what to do on the fly. That would be. Bad.
