He paused for a moment. he figured since they were talking about memories he was probably asking if that type of thing has happened previously.

"When it comes to memories, no. But at best I've only been here for...two months or something while others have been here much longer. So they would more likely know more than me."

"Hm. This is disturbing information. How do we even make meaning out of this? What did we all see?"

So much for a leisurely climb. Roland's not the type to stop thinking about this even with a view as nice as the island.

"Stay alert, Allen. I don't trust this one bit."

"I can at least guess that we are seeing anothers memories, but that's all I can guess at."

Allen was way ahead of the whole don't trust thing. Since the brief moment of memory, he has very little trust. He was also way to use to something always happening.

"I don't trust it either but it seems like, unlike other things this might have more of a purpose that we just don't know."

The idea of seeing someone else's memories without their consent disturbs Roland, but more than that, he grows paranoid that someone else had his.

He stays quiet before they continue onwards, together.

"When is it ever just because?" he says, with slight exasperation. "If it's really memories we're dealing with..." Roland hums seriously. "Then you and I better stay alert. I knew this wasn't just some cute holiday."

"Believe me. A lot of stuff can happen just because. No reason. it just happens." He is forever reminded of the time he was a zombie for no reason. it just happened and it was annoying. Different world and maybe this stuff of stuff have more of a reason, but still...

"Doesn't make it less annoying."
