Tidus! Feels the same as just about every other day. [ He comments as though this is an ordinary thing, you know, stop a meteor, no big deal. ]

[ Hahaha- ]

Great! Gen feeling the same? He with you?

[ A pause as he looks around ]

I don't see him at the moment, but I'm sure he's around. He's never that far. I'll be sure to ask him how he feels later for you. [ He might be smirking a little bit as he says that. ]

[ Gen propped his head on Senku's shoulder for just a brief moment, grinning wide. ]

Hello, my friend! I'm doing very well, of course, just gathering some cocoa. If you're inviting Senku-chan into trouble, I'll be coming along.

[ A cheeky little grin, and then he's off again ]

--sounds like he's got his own radar. [ Wow, he knew he was being talked about! That's magic. ]

Anywaay, [ magical mentalists aside!, ] reason I called - you seen the bots hanging out around the jungle? You want 'em, scrap or whole? 'Cause I think there's gonna be a lot of scrap.

[ There is absolutely going to be a lot of scrap. ]

[ Gen is getting a look, rude to spy on your friend's personal calls, but he doesn't really care exactly so it's fine. He pays more attention to Tidus than anything. ]

That or he's close enough to overhear me. [ He rolls his eyes. ]

I don't know that we've got room for a lot of whole robots, scrap though, we can totally work with that. Mechanical parts are mechanical parts!

Eh, I'll just slice them in half if they're too big. [ No biggy, no sweat. ] There's also bunch of-- stuff here, in some of the stations.

... I'm basically going to bring you everything that isn't nailed down. [ basically. ] I'll show you it later. You guys over at Orange don't need tools or anything, do you?

Well we do have the arms band, I'm sure it will be fine.

[ He grins. ] That sounds like a pretty good plan, we can sort everything after that and if something isn't useful we can discard it before getting on the train.

[ He lets out a thoughtful noise. ] I don't think so, I've got the tools you got from the points last time too. We should be okay.

[ Huh. Hm- ]

I'll make a stop by sooner if I can anyway. There's tools and bits of everything; they might help you guys, whoever else is working on Orange. And the train wants us to visit a thousand of these thing. [ Ugh. ]

It's plants everywhere.

Yeah, sure, I mean no one's gonna turn away tools, but actually not everyone knows how to fix things.

[ It's maybe slower going than it could be. ]

I noticed, really reminds me of home if home were a sweltering, wet jungle.

[ One of his deadpan jokes. ] Got a knife on you? I can make you a few spares if you want, or sharpen yours if it's getting dull.

I guess...I can come watch you and see if I pick anything up?

[ Since this is so important...he can try learning. Maybe it'll stick even!

But also- ] Good one. [ Just as flat. Wonderful comedian career ahead of you, Senku. ]

You think you can make a few? Uh, actually- you should stick to the wiring. [ Priorities!! ] We don't want to waste time... I'm still kinda worried about those visions people were having before we got here.

Yeah, if you want, I'm happy to tell you what I know.

[ He does mean that, and thank you Tidus, he was planning on turning to stand up if this whole astronaut thing didn't turn out. ]

I can work and talk at the same time. [ He pauses. ]

Wait, what? What visions? [ He's not really aware of those, actually. ]

Sky turning red, jungle burning, lots of screaming and the world in pain? [ You know, that kind of vision. ] It sounded like the meteorite, but when I asked Curufin who had it if what he saw in his dreams always happened, he said yeah.

So... [ A worried pause. ] Either he got it wrong, or we still have trouble coming.

I didn't really know people had visions, most likely because I don't know anyone who does. That doesn't sound good, if he's saying his visions on these missions always come true then...

[ He's thinking. Think. Think. Think. ]

It's really wet for there to be widespread fires, I mean...he's sure?

Could anything from space mess with the environment? [ It's a swing in the dark. Tidus frowns, heard more in the doubt in his voice. ]

Zelda saw it too. They're both Orange - if you see one of them before me, you wanna ask? I'll do it too if I get the chance. [ And if Senku doesn't get back to him first. ]

I...tentatively I'd say no? Not unless there's another meteor or something, I mean, something would have to break through the shields and be burning up in the atmosphere, if this planet even has atmosphere, statistically...

[ He believes Tidus, and he's talked to Curufin a few times, he didn't read as a liar. ]

I'll be sure to do that. If there's something yet to come it would have to be terrible. I mean, I don't see any volcanoes either, which could also cause that kind of destruction so I'm not, I'm not sure.

[ He wonders, paused, but eventually- ]

Well whatever happens, we'll deal with it then! Let's wait on what Curufin and the others say before we get worried.

[ Time to just tuck that in the back of the mind. Focus! ]

[ Tidus. Tidus please. Have you met him? Of course he's worried now. ]

Now all I can think about is fiery destruction. But I can't imagine...it can't be a regular fire, it's way too wet and humid for that.

[ Senku please!! OPTIMISM!! ]

Well, maybe it's a...space fire! Some weird fiery chemicals coming from space! But - [ but!! ] - that doesn't mean we can't put it out!

[ this is very optimistic, see ]

[ Tidus is very optimistic.

Senku can't believe what he just heard. It's so incredibly wrong on so many levels that he opens his mouth and he can't even formulate a response.

Please hold, Senku.exe needs to reboot. ]

[ Clearly Senku is just racking his brain for ideas over there. It's okay, Tidus can keep going! ]

Or you know, we just run at that point! Since the dreams did say about screaming... and I guess that's gonna be us.

[ So running is also a good idea. ]

[ No. Really. He's really not. He's so not Tidus. Talking is just making it worse. Why are you making it worse?

Senku takes a slow, deep breath. ]

Okay. Combustion, fire, requires oxygen. Space does not have oxygen. There won't be any space fires, much less any that come down on this planet. I can't speak to magic fires.

The reason things burn up in the sky when they fall from space is usually the speed at which they're falling and the reaction in the atmosphere. That's as simple as I can make it. [ He remembers that Tidus doesn't take well to longwinded science explanations. ]

Regardless of how it happens, I'm not sure the vision seeing us as screaming is not any less ominous.

[ Also he's not planning on screaming in a panic. ]

We should plan on something other than just running around in a panic.

[ .......well okay maybe he shouldn't make random guessing, okay okay he learned his lesson! ]

Let's speak to the people who had the vision first, yeah? I know about Zelda and Curufin, but maybe there were more. We can ask everyone about it.

If Curufin was wrong, then we're worrying about nothing, right? Then we'll plan depending on what everyone says.

[ He can randomly guess, it's fine, Senku will just explain things. Or he'll get speechless again. He's just a know-it-all. ]

That seems like a good plan. Any clue at all that we've missed would be a big help. I don't really intend on dying in a fire.
