For the third option, a list of passengers appears and names can be searched for by letter. Anyone who has been working to try and make communications happen on their own devices will find those linked in to this network- though it is still only possible to use voice. If they have headphones from the music room they can make it so they work like earpieces.

[ That slight pause before he speaks indicates that Inigo is thinking about it too, even as he's speaking. ]

It's not as if we got any hint as to what they're like, right? It'd make looking for them so much easier.

If this were something in- in one of the places I'd visited, back home - I'd be looking for a spot where the sky dips.

These places are run by computers, including the 'sky'; there's got to be some central spot for sending out commands, if it's not all distributed...

You could almost metaphorically hear the gears in his brain trying to grind away really, really hard.. ]

How.. How exactly does a computer.. run a place? [ Is the answer to that also the answer to the mystery of where they can find the Overseers? ]

Most of what we've seen - the pipework and cleaners, here in the Winter Sector - are things that can be maintained by robots using specific commands. But those commands have to come from somewhere, and it's not as likely that whatever's sending those commands can move.

[Aka the Helpmates.]

So they're not living in it, just keeping it tidy and well-structured... well, normally.

[ Okay, so. Robots. He understands that, thanks to previous missions. And he can get the idea of them getting commands, that's just like an army, really.. Inigo is trying his best here. ]

How about these odd shifting streets over there in the purple team's sector then? [ Because those are so weird. ] Do you think there's something out there controlling that as well?

It'd make sense - everything here was created, at least where the sphere is concerned.

[The grass and animals in other sectors, not so much, but that's not her point here.]

So there may be wiring all throughout underneath, or the like.

[ It's as if Inigo is suddenly getting an idea, because every single word is said with a little more surprise and determined. ]

So that means we can fix it! [ Please. He wants to fix it so badly. He's going to scream if yet another wall pops up in front of him at this point. ]

[Nita smiles, not that Inigo can see it - hopefully, though, he can hear it, with her next response.]

It's part and parcel of what we're here to help with, I'll bet you anything.

It's to the point where Inigo sounds like he's ready to run right off with that determination, though he does seem to realise something before he can do just that.. ]

Given past missions? It won't be something any one of us can do.

But... I'm pretty sure we're on track to find each sector's Overseers at about the same time.

[If this was anything like, say, the mission to Gyueran and Bui.]

So we'll have some chance to pool our powers together - or at least get our heads together, relatively speaking.

He had so much hope for a moment! And now it's all dashed! ]

That means that by the time we stop this dumb problem, we'll have to get back on the train! [ So he won't even be around to enjoy a no-random-walls-popping-up place.

Inigo lets out such a drawn out whine. ]

Nita, we need to do something fun when we're back on the train to make up for this. I can't take it anymore.

[Nita makes a rather empathetic noise.]

[So long as both of them aren't collapsed in a corner somewhere...]

[ He pauses for a moment. It's not often that he hears it - if anything, he's usually the one saying it, knowing he's the one that's way too clingy with every single bond he's got in his life.

But maybe that makes hearing it in return not so bad. ]
